This review is for Granny's Christmas Tree Lot by Perfect Event Rentals…read more Conveniently located on Great Neck Rd. right next to Church of the Holy Family, Granny's Christmas Tree Lot is THE spot to get your Christmas tree. We've now purchased our Christmas tree from them for the past few years in a row, after previously purchasing from another well-known lot nearby. They have the healthiest, best looking trees I've ever seen, and the best prices to boot. Their set-up is so organized that it made finding our perfect Christmas tree super easy. We especially appreciated the walkways which they have in place so that we weren't traipsing through the mud and dirt. A staff member was readily available to pull any tree out for us to examine on all sides, and they're all so pleasant! They have trees of all sizes, though tending more toward the kind of lush trees which you simply cannot get at Lowe's or Home Depot or the like. We were very impressed with their prices--we have 10 foot ceilings, so appropriately-sized trees can get quite pricey. The tree we chose will more than fill its corner, and that size usually runs about $150+. We paid only $108 for it at Granny's. So, not only are you getting the best trees, but you're also getting the best prices! They had our tree trimmed up and loaded onto our car in no time. We also purchased a bottle of Prolong, a water additive for your Christmas tree which truly works to prolong the tree's life (we buy it every year), as well as an extended thing to actually water the tree more easily. Don't forget the little pine reindeer! All in all: A+++ and would highly recommend

When my husband and I decided we wanted to host his Navy shipmates for Thanksgiving dinner, I knew…read moreI needed to rent some chairs and a table or they would be eating on the floor. This facility was one of the first to come us when I searched and after a brief email exchange, I was set up with my 8' table and 15 nice folding chairs. The pick up time was flexible, which was great since I never know the ships schedule. Having to go and get the rentals and bring them back was a little inconvenient, as we don't own a truck and had to get a shipmate to transport for us, but the great service we got and the flexible time frame we were given to return our rentals without being charged extra fees more than made up for it. The awesome price for the total rental was a perk too. Knowing I can count on Perfect Event Rental means I can plan more great gatherings with the people we love.

I've seen Ted around town and didn't know he was a wedding planner. When he heard I was getting…read moremarried he approached me to offer his service. I was in the middle of interviewing wedding planners and was so close to locking one in already. I was less than 5 months to getting married so the pressure was on!! The following week or so, my husband and I met with him. At our first meeting, he had cupcakes for us!! And from my favorite cupcake shop too!! How did he know? It's like love at first site LOL! He was thorough in explaining the different services he provided and had packages to fit any budget. He answered all our questions and concerns. And we had a lot! He's very knowledgeable in the industry and had great connection to vendors that I would need for the wedding. I felt like I was going to be in good hands. So that night my husband and I knew he was the one to help us enter this new journey of our lives. Ted was always available for me day and night! He went with us to every vendor meetings, cake and food tasting, dress fitting, hair and makeup session, and etc. He wanted to make sure we were happy and what we agreed upon at these meetings is what we're going to get on the wedding day. He was hands on and I needed that!!! He was very much invested in us. The day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about anything, he took care of the logistics and even had my 'lady in waiting' at my house to pick me up and transport my items. He thought of EVERYTHING. So If you are looking for a wedding planner or for any event for that matter, look no further this is the guy for you!

I had heard from Kim Shipman how wonderful VBI was at her son's party, and called Cindy in April. She had a weekend special where you pay a day's rental plus 50% and get to keep it 3 days, so we booked the Mickey Mouse double slide for 3 weekdays. They are so very easy to work with! We put down a deposit, but were told we could cancel as late as 5pm the night before in case of inclement weather. The night before, Cindy notified us of the delivery time window, and the next morning, Hannah and Chloe arrived, and anchored the slide, having it set up in 20 minutes, safely, with an inservice of the system. IT WAS SO CLEAN. IT WAS SHINY WHITE, RED AND YELLOW. We were very pleased, and the kids ran up and down it for 3 days, at least 100 times a day. Keeping it over a day was great because they had it into the evenings, and they removed it carefully with no damage to our property. I highly recommend this company for your children's fun!!

We recently rented a bounce house for the weekend. This company drove a metal stake through our…read moresewer line which caused a flood in our house. They refused to help cover any of the cost of their negligence (the outflow tract was about 2 feet away where they hammered the stake into the ground so easy to visually see where the sewer pipe ran through the yard) or even refund the bounce house rental. We will be using other companies in the future and warning others not to use this company. They also stated they hit a gas line at someone else's house and refused to pay that so there is clearly a pattern of negligently setting up this equipment. Please beware and use other companies that use proper set up techniques.
