When I finally uncovered this hidden office, after going back and forth to the map less than 50 metres away, half a dozen times, I found it closed and with opening hours only surpassed in their complexity and illogicality by the local bus system I was seeking assistance with (The whole region is divided into 100 odd tiny zones and your ticket cost depends on how many of these zones you are going to visit or even pass through).
Should I get a 3-6+T ticket, a T+10 ticket, T-4-2?, T-Rex, MrT, The T-bahns connected to the U-bahn. I never found out because there was a massive queue of people at office opening, who probably also needed help buying the algebra tickets. If they were half as confused as I was then I would have been stuck there all day. I ended up buying the most expensive ticket so that I could enter as many zones as possible (I got it from a machine that rejected most of my notes and coins, but eventually allowed me to feed it a combination that was to its tasted) probably what they intend visitors to do. read more
