My installer was a 10+ and great to work with. He installed Living Room, Dining Room and bathrooms. He was careful with items in the home and neat snd clean not only in appearance but in his work habits. Your service was great also. Nd good follow up. I ask you all to return and put the same flooring in my Master bedroom. Only one suggestion, when a customer comes in the store with a sales person request that when they return to the company they have the sale and follow up. Overall a very poor experience, terrible customer service and absolutely no accountability - only arguments and excuses. Hired them to replace countertops in our kitchen. First: the counters simply don't fit properly - the overhanging edge is a half inch shorter on one side (1" vs 1.5" directly across from another), causing a visible difference between side of the location of the top drawers. They first blamed this on my cabinets being out of alignment, but once I had them come back out, they were able to confirm it was a countertop issue. While they were able to adjust one side to add 1/8 inch, the issue really isn't fully resolved as I was not willing to have them tear everything back out to do drywall work that they said would make it fit better (everything about the experience told me I should cut my loss and avoid more damage and issues). The installers broke a piece of my stove, and separate employees have now explained to me how the piece "doesn't affect the function" of the range, rather than just replacing the damaged part. They did not ask me about removing any drawers and cabinetry items, there was so much sawdust and wood debris in dishes, silverware, etc. that it took hours of emptying cabinets and drawers to clean them out (about 10 minutes would have been plenty of time to pull out all the drawers and stack them up). Their excuse for the mess was that they didn't charge me enough to remove the old counter tops, (except I paid the price THEY charged, I didn't know there was an option to upgrade to the "don't ruin my stuff package" or I probably would have). I wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

Had a bad experience with the installation. Then there were seams showing every place there was a connection. Sent a service tech out to repair. He actually suggested using some carpet we had put in an outside doghouse to make up for shortage from trying to repair. I had pointed out 5 places but he only worked on two and they are still visible. I will say they did pay for the repainting for the damage done at install. Very Frustrated read more

They had to scrape, spray paint, and rewire the broken wires for the lights, etc. Worst experience of my life for buying something "new". The trailer had been stacked in shipping but they put the trailer on top of it while the paint was still wet. So there were thick tire tracks on top of the rail. A few small rusty spots too. I wasn't happy because the salesman failed to mention any of these issues when he talked to me on the phone numerous times prior to my arrival. I'm sure his review of me after that wouldn't be real high either. It was like pulling teeth to even get a free spare tire for my trouble after driving 8+ hrs round trip for the trailer. My advice... i would never recommend Busenbark to anyone. The customer service from them was horrible. When I questioned a supervisor about it, i was laughed at. Then when trying to resolve the issue with one of the owner, he only wanted to point fingers and say it was my fault. Find another flooring company to do business with. read more

Both my mom and sister-in-law have used Busenbark, my mom several times and were extremely pleased with them so when we decided to replace all of our flooring, we went there. Troy Hacker helped us pick out the hardwood and carpet. Troy is such a nice man and we are very pleased with our purchase. The installation guys were great! They worked hard the whole time they were here. I won't go any where else now and highly recommend. I know lots of other people who have used Busenbark and we're also happy with them but I don't think Yelp is used widely in the area. read more

They tried to charge me much more than the estimate,grout had air bubbles because the grout was mixed too wet,tiles are uneven almost 1/4 high on some edges,too short on ordering tile had to wait extra 10 days,never fixed the jacked up tiles, dumped all the extra mortar and grout in my side yard which looks terrible. read more

I ordered my kitchen countertops last May against the advice of a few people who had used them. They had the stone I wanted and since they were a family business I wanted to give them a shot. I have had nothing but problems for the last year. -They sent the wrong sink and then tried to get me to keep the one they sent -They installed the bar top and one section of the countertop crooked and had to come back and fix -One section of the counter top is cut to short and doesn't have an overhang (which they tried to tell me they do all of the time but didn't do it on the other ends of my counters) -The biggest problem (at the time) was there was a strange film covering the entire countertop that they tried to convince me was normal on a polished stone. We figured out that it could be removed with a razor blade but when they sent someone to do it they worked for about 20 mins before they left for another job because they 'were really busy'. They gave me the run around so long that I decided to take care of it myself. It took me hours to remove the residue and I was able to get them to take a few hundred dollars off of my bill, not worth the hassle but was appreciated. The natural stone countertop I bought was their most expensive grade they had, they told me the quartzite was stronger than granite, which is great since we have a busy kitchen and our granite (from another company) looked great after 15+ years of use. Not long after the counters were installed it began to chip. There is a huge chip on the edge from my daughter putting her plate in the sink and barely grazing it (it didn't break the glass plate but did a number on the counter top). A few day later someone put a bowl on the bar and chipped the edge. The sink has hundreds of chips around the inside. They came to fill in the biggest chip and it looks horrible, like a huge blemish. The owners son told me that he wouldn't have sold me this countertop for a kitchen, yet the salesman obviously sold it to me and touted it was the strongest stone I could buy. The owner's son also told me that I should've noticed the film I had to scrape off when I came to approve the layout (it was inside with bad lighting and covered with dust). They told me before Christmas that they would take care of the issues we were having but asked me to wait until after the holidays since it was their busy season. I had them put in writing that they would take care of the issues later (which obviously means nothing to them). I called in February and they came back to look at the problems and told me 1. that they were not the end of the of world, 2. nothing could be done about the countertop cut too short and 3. tried to talk me out of rounded the edges of the sink more (for fewer chips) because I told be so dusty (even thought that's what they told me on the phone would resolve that problem). They said they might be able to make the blemish that they filled so poorly look better, but that was it. I asked to speak to the owner. He blamed me for everything, took no ownership for their faults and after 45 mins of no resolution he literally hung up on me. He called back a week or so later and I've tried to call him back 2 times in the last 30 days with no response. The last thing I want to do is leave a poor review of this business but the bottom line is that I put faith in their word that the product would be superior and it's falling majorly short, especially considering the price tag. Now they are not responding to my requests to resolve the problem. I highly caution anyone from doing business with them. read more

These guys were wonderful. The salesmen were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the visit to the show room. So much to choose from I really had a hard time deciding what I wanted. After discussing with the salespeople what I was needing, it became much easier to make up my mind. They didn't push at all and they gave me choices upon what I was looking to spend and upon my needs. I was very limited on the amount of money to spend and I still ended up with very good quality of merchandise. Although I had some issues with the person they contracted for laying carpet, after I called the store and discussed the issues they sent out someone to correct it the next day. Will never use this company again! Very unprofessional. There are no apologies for their screw ups and they have no sense of urgency to make things right. Because Laura can't order correctly we had to sit for 2-1/2 weeks with all of stuff that we had emptied from our office into our kitchen to make moving our 7 piece desk unit easier. We were left with nothing but padding and tack strips down during that time. When the day finally came to get the carpet down they screwed that up too! Sent one guy the first time (guess he was suppose to move the furniture by himself) and then finally got a second crew later in the afternoon only after our insistence that our carpet was going to be installed that day. Would never recommend! After all the headaches and lack of communication I would not want anyone else to encounter the frustration we did. The sales Lady Laura Caldwell is a great sales pitch but as soon as your down payment is in she is a complete ghost and does not communicate anything with you from there on out. She even will over look the obvious when measuring flooring unless you hold her hand. When she messes up she will lie to cover her own a**! The installers are careless and damaged the walls which required a contractor to come in to fix. They also left unfilled nail holes through out the wood flooring. My whole kitchen floor sqeeked due to them rushing (which there was no reason to), once they sent someone out to fix it, it still did not fix the whole problem nor did they care to fill the unfilled nail holes. The flooring was not complete with in the time frame they stated. Todd Bussenbark has no sympathy for the aggravation and lack of communication his company has for there customers. He even refuses to give a reasonable if any compensation to the customers for the issues his company causes and will straight tell you to your face he doesnt feel they owe anyone any compensation. We will never do business with Bussenbark in Farmington ever agian nor refer them. read more

We had a new home built and this is the company the builder contracted to do our carpet. When we moved in we noticed the tacks/nails coming through our carpet at all the transition areas of carpet to hardwood floor. These HURT when we step on them. I have had 3 appointments for it to be fixed. I talked with James every time I called. The first one, no one showed up. I called and was told there was no record of my appointment. This morning I had another appointment that no one showed for. I called and asked if someone was coming. Again it seemed as no one knew about this. I was told that someone would be here at 1pm. It is past that time. I understand appointments can run late. However, not showing up not once but three times does not make customers pleased. I do not understand why my appointment seemed to not be important to your company. My three kids, my husband, and myself are tired of walking on tacks that your contractors did not install properly the first time. read more

One would think that if you have been in business as long as Busenbark you would get the Job done right the first time. Not the case here, even though the OWNERS SON was friendly i have to wonder how this company is still in business. Since my husband is a master carpenter we had all the measurements done correctly, he even went down prior to cut to make sure everything was correct. This company whom have been in business for YEARS, tried to give us a different stone, came to install measurements was wrong and the hole for my popup outlet was the size of a trash can, cutters thought this was a commercial trash can and mind you we currently had the same templates on the cabinets and so we had to wait another week for island along with another small piece, came back installed the counter tops only to find the popup outlet needed to be cut again along with the edge cut different than what we have on the other side of out kitchen. Mind you my husband had to take off work to be at the house each time for their mistakes. After building and rehabbing 3 house by far worse experience ever. Hoods or even Lowes would have done it right the first time! read more

I am very disappointed. We knew some of the work that had been done on our house prior to us living in it was done by Busenbark. We have even seen their vans in our neighborhood several times in the last months. I'm thinking this is deafeningly the place to go with.... boy am i questioning it now. After dealing with multipule very rude salesman over the phone I finally speak with Dalton who I thought was very professional. We made an appointment and he gave us home work. We spent hours looking on the internet to narrow what we were looking for in our bathroom remodel this being our homework. He was to text us his cell number so that we could send him pictures....he did not. We had to call him again to remind him to give me his number so we could give him the ideas we had in mind. I also confirmed the time of our appointment for the following day. We were excited to see what ideas he could give us and to see the samples. 40 minutes after our appointment I call his cell. No answer so I leave a text. 1 hour after our appointment we call the office and to our surprise Dalton is with a walk-in client. Though we were both pretty upset by this time we agree to allow Dalton to come if he could be at our house within 90 minutes. Half an hour later he calls to say he is just now leaving the office and it will take 45 minutes to reach our house. He finally shows up of course very sorry for being late. This is the kicker he brought three posters of samples. Two of the posters were of the exact same tile but in different colors. He did not listen to what I was going for, he did not prepare, and above all he told me that he had spent 2 hours with the walk-in clients before us. He decided to take the walk-in when he was should have been leaving the office to be on time for our appointment. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. It will have to take an act of God to get us to go through Busenbark. read more
