During Hurricane Ian, I fled Florida seeking a safe location to weather the storm. I was traveling with my Yorkie Rescue Shelby. She had been with me since she was 6 years old and I had her for 9 years. It took me a year to get Shelby to trust me. I promised Shelby she would never go to another home. She would be with me for her lifetime. Shelby got sick and I had to find a vet to see her as I was traveling and most vets will not see an animal that is not local and one of their patients. It was an emergency and I needed a vet for my girl. The local manger at Pet smart recommended Bush Animal Clinic. They opened at 7:30 in the morning and I was waiting at their door for them to open. I went inside and explained the situation to the lady at the front desk. She went to the back to talk to Dr. Love and she said bring her in. During a time that was a very traumatic time for me, Bush Animal Clinic took the time to help us. The staff and the doctor were so understanding and kind. I could not have asked for better service and kindness that I was shown by Bush Animal Clinic. Shelby was very sick and her kidneys were shutting down. Shelby passed away that day and it was heartbreaking. Dr. Love and the staff were so compassionate and kind during this time for me and Shelby. I am forever grateful for your kindness, compassion, and all out caring for us. I would highly recommend this Clinic to anyone needing a veterinarian. Love Bush Animal Clinic. We use them for vet services and boarding. Each of the Vets are fantastic and so conscientious with both of our dogs. As a family that moves often with the military it's always stressful finding new services in each location. Hi everyone my pet name is Amber she was diagnosed with cancer a while back she was euthanized and cremated about 3 weeks ago we had her 13 years we are devastated I can't explain our hurt. I can tell you that the veterinarians at this business are wonderful and caring as well as the entire staff. We used them for twelve years with our lab and she was so well taken care of and at the end of her life, they took care of her and her human family. Now we have a dachshund and for the past three and a half years our little Baelee is very well taken care of. Dr. Whatley is well educated in the care of dachshunds and that's hard to find. Dr Chupp and Dr. Love are just as well versed on her care. But the assistants and associates are all trained in the animal care for medical treatment as well as lodging and spa treatments. I know when our Baelee is there she is in safe hands and that everyone has her best interest at heart. Baelee isn't afraid of being there which means she feels safe. All 3 Doctors and the entire staff is awesome. They don't treat you like a customer, they treat you like family.

I came into Albany so my puppies could get their stitches out from being fixed. Mainly because of the high ratings this clinic received, i made a big mistake. The receptionist was confused by my request to have stitches removed and couldn't tell me how long it would take "I'll have to see if we have a doctor" was her response. Once that was established someone in scrubs came out no introduction no assurances for a first time pet owner like myself and they were taken to the back. Once my first puppy was done I asked if she was ok to which I got a nasty "well we took the stitches out" Now I realize removing stitches is a free procedure but having two new puppies I would be repeat business I wasn't asked if I would like to have a file started so when we come back paperwork is on record even though I brought everything. The staff is excellent! Always friendly and accommodating. I'd give 5 stars but when I board my dog, she comes out really dirty. If I elect to have her bathed (free bath if board your animal 5 or more days), she really isn't that clean and doesn't smell fresh like you'd expect. But she's obviously well cared for. She gets excited when I walk her in... or, when she drags me in. read more

Dr Whatley and his staff are amazing! I've seen several vets about my dogs ear infection, which was ongoing for over a year. He recommended a surgery which completely solved all our problems. He also made it clear he wouldn't normally recommended such a dramatic response but it was a really bad case. The staff were so sweet when I came back in tears after he busted a stitch. I found the prices very reasonable and they didn't even charge me when I boarded him for an extra few days after the incident. Highly recommend!! read more
