"5/12/19 Do not take your pet to Kountry Kennel!! located at: Freedom Drive Freedom Drive, Enterprise, Alabama 36330 Owners are Donna & Larry. Phone # 334-763-1065 or 334-763-1062 They are Monstrous! It would be more humane to shoot your beloved four legged family member than board it with this MONSTER!! My husband and I picked up our two fur-babies this evening, after a four day board at KK House of Horrors! (We tried repeatedly calling and messaging this MONSTER for an update over the four days, which Donna of KK's never replied to and her voicemail was always full so we couldn't leave a message. Her and her son promised they would text us pictures of the pets and text us with updates. They failed to do so. Donna only called us back after my husband Facebook messaged her saying we can't get ahold of her and we need to come pick up our dogs. These previously healthy, happy, tail wagging family members came home stinking from the ROT of probably being caged the whole time in their own urine and feces, and this was after she gave them a bath. Which is very weird! Why on earth would she have to give our dogs a bath right before us picking them up. They both came home lethargic, and listless. Our boy dog Butkus was so hungry he ate two of his normal serving sizes, mind you we were finally able to pick them up at 8:20 pm so our dogs should've eaten dinner already! Kenny, our girl dog, was so bad off that Donna's son carried her out to my husbands truck, not walked...Donna said "she was having a hard time with separation anxiety and she was walking unbalanced and she had been panting a lot." Why didn't they call or text us back to let us know this??! We have NO idea. We would've have had someone come and pick her up! We got home and Kennedy was limping so bad she fell right to our floor. I then text her: "My dog Kennedy the brown one is limping and won't stand up. Did something happen???" She said "no i assumed it was her (anxiety) medication or her anxiety." How stupid can they be! Obviously the symptoms she had were not normal, what is wrong with them! We called the emergency vet at Animal Health Center in Enterprise, he told us over the phone that since her gums were red/pink and she was breathing to watch her overnight or come back if she progressively got worse. We decided we would take her in anyways. After we hung up Kennedy pooped herself and within minutes SHE DIED on our living room floor!!!!!!! We are all heartbroken, thinking of the horror Kenny must have endured under the "care" of this MONSTER! Please any of my Alabama friends share this!! Warn people about this horrible place!!! *****UPDATE: We took Butkus to the vet, he got put on medication for his diarrhea, the vet thinks the little cuts on his face and leg are from being in a kennel, but he is ok! I went to City Hall and filed a complaint, I filed a police report, and a report with animal control. We transferred Kennedy to get an autopsy done and we stopped her cremation. So many people have come forward with the wrong doings their families have endured after boarding their pets with Kounrty Kennel. I am praying that with the evidence we can get Kennedy justice and prevent this from happening to any other pets. She is able to manipulate Facebook and Google reviews!! Help us shut her down so this doesn't happen again!!" Many google reviews were also done but the lady keeps deleting them to make her scores look higher. If you look at old reviews they are very very bad as well. Many pets have fallen ill, came out extremely stressed, or as in the case listed above, died. This place needs to be shut down. How many pets need to be treated this way before someone does something about it?
