IMO the patties were still pretty thick to be considered a smashburger, and despite being thicker than expected, they weren't very juicy. The buns were pretty dense and came untoasted as well. It wasn't bad, just not impressive. The portioning was enough to get me full, but I would want to order a different entree if I decided to come back. The french onion soup upgrade was definitely worth the money and I do recommend ordering that! Service was good, my server was really nice and helpful with answering any questions I had about the menu. Food came out pretty quick after ordering and the atmosphere is nice and clean. I'd like to give this place a second chance in the future but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Newfie fries is a type of dressing that uses bread crumbs and yellow onions - again more of the saltier side, but it matches quite well with gravy as a poutine.
