I visited for lunch and dined on Gaelic Boxty which was rich and flavourful. Our server was very efficient and friendly making us feel very welcome. This is a well established brewery and bar with an extensive menu. It promotes local events and is very much Saskatchewan anchored and proud. Great for couples as well as groups and individuals. It's an informal place and well staffed so waiting times are minimal. The beer menu is broad and caters for all tastes. I need to return to sample more of everything. read more

Two of us came in for lunch after a meeting. I ordered the Reuben Sandwich with Fries. They asked if I wanted to upsize the meat from 4oz to 8oz, I stuck with the 4oz. It was very tasty and the sauerkraut was very yummy. The fries were piping hot and there were a lot of them. I couldn't eat them all. The server was friendly and attentive. Enjoy his conversation and recommendations on food, beer and other potential brewers to visit. Enjoyed their Beef Dip with fires. Hot, flavorful and delicious. My pal, Shawna, and I had supper this evening at Bushwakker Brewpub. They brew their own beer ... my Northern Lights lager was good! There was a chicken wings/pint special for $16.95 and that's what I got. My wings were lemon pepper and were good. I like that they were just deep-fried and had no batter. Shawna ordered the Beef Dip with fries and it was a large portion (all the food seemed to be huge portions ... the nachos looked monstrous!) and she took half home. She said it was good and she'd get it again. Monday nights are jazz and blues nights and tonight the Jazz Band-Its were playing. They were really good. Kennya was our server. Bushwakker was freaking awesome! This brew pub had too many flavors of beer to try! It was great. I liked many of them, and the bartender was great conversation and at trying to recommend other items that I'd like to try. If one was going to be around Regina for a while, they have some awesome events like keg tapping parties for new brew where they left a patron do it, dinners with specially paired drinks on certain nights by ticketed seats only, and THEY'LL LET YOU BUY THE FULL SIZED PINT GLASSWARE! That's sweet for a glassware collector like myself. This was one of my absolute favorite places to visit in Regina. It's in the warehouse / bar district too, so it would be very easy to start out a hell of a night here and move to much larger places down the street. read more

The food was great, I can't comment on the IPA / craft beer as I didn't indulge that day. The staff was friendly and fixed a problem with my taco salad that had arrived cold. The beer is the best!! The food isn't great and the service is slow. The beer is so good it makes up for the food. I had the Venetian "gourmet" pizza and it was disgusting. The mix of toppings was nasty especially the huge chunks of almost raw banana peppers. read more

Great beer selection. Good pub food. Great atmosphere and staff. Always a favorite for a night out. They even have a good sarsaparilla on tap for the designated driver. This is a great bar! In town for my son's hockey tournament, this place was across the street from our hotel. Though we didn't have dinner, we sampled several beers brewed on-site. All were good woth a great variety. We also had the homemade O Henry cheesecake-it was outstanding.. The most outstanding thing, though was the staff. They were all very friendly and it was apparent they enjoy their jobs. They all showed great pride in their work and the products they serve. Kick back and relax at bushy's with a pint and live jazz or folk. Warning: Bushwakkers will most likely destroy domestic beer for you. The only close second is a brewery in Nashville called Bosco's! That being said the selection of beers are outstanding and the quality is far above average! I found the food here to be overpriced for the quality you are getting. Twice I had the cabbage role here, both times it was cold in the center. I've had the steak tacos with raw steak and had nachoes with enough topping on then to cover 5 chips. My husband and I tried this place on Wednesday. We were happily surprised that it was folk night (Bradford was playing). The music was amazing and we scored a table right up front. We insistently loved this place when we walked in. Great live music and warm and welcoming decor and staff. We shared chicken wings (buffalo- medium) and then shared a Caesar salad and the Saskatchewan hot plate. All the food was good. Service was nice and attentive. My husband tried a couple of there beers and gave them the thumbs up. Didn't see a sampler listed as an option on the menu but I didn't ask about one either.
