We were in town for the weekend for a wedding, and the bride recommended this spot. It was so good that we ended up coming back both mornings! The food was delicious, came out relatively quickly, and the menu was simple without feeling limited. The first morning I ordered the biscuit breakfast sandwich, and it was incredible. I especially loved that it came with a really flavorful sauce that kept it from feeling too dry; it was also huge. I've never had to question finishing a simple breakfast sandwich but this time I had to re evaluate towards the end. After telling our friends how much we loved it, they told us they always get the biscuit and gravy burrito so I knew we had to go back and try it. The burrito was huge, packed with flavor, and I loved that it had actual biscuit pieces inside instead of potatoes. My husband ordered the same egg breakfast both days because he enjoyed it that much. Despite being very busy both mornings, with a line out the door each time, the service was fast and efficient. The restaurant only has outdoor seating, but we had no trouble finding a table on either visit. We'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a hearty, satisfying breakfast. My only real critiques are that they only serve hot coffee. I know it's not a coffee shop, but especially during the warmer months, having iced coffee as an option would be a nice addition. Someone opening a coffee shop in the same shopping center would make a killing. The prices are also on the higher side. My biscuit and gravy burrito with an orange juice came to about $27 after tip. It was absolutely worth it while we were on vacation, but if I lived nearby, it would probably be more of an occasional treat than a regular breakfast spot. I had high hopes for this breakfast burrito... and Busy Bees absolutely crushed it. The sausage in the burrito had sage in it and was savory ..the eggs and cheese were creamy. The biscuit was well cooked moist and had a little bit of sweetness from the Honey... and the green onions were a nice touch. The fresh green salsa was delicious as well. Ok let's get this out of way. Busy bee is a caterer first and cafe second. I say that because there's no inside seating and no bathroom. Order inside, grab a pager, and pick up at the window. Do I care? Not really. The food is quite good. Let's start with the biscuit. It's HUGE, moist and flaky. The honey chipotle sauce doesn't work for me but honey butter is fine, even if it's a bit sweet. I'd prefer salted butter on this very good biscuit. Old Faithful: voted best breakfast burrito a few years back and it's good but best ??? I don't know. The bacon and veggies are much better than the ham or sausage. Biscuit Sandwich: the flaky large biscuit can make this a little hard to eat and, as I said, I don't love the honey chipotle sauce. The Capitola: Chicken salad sandwich on herb bread. Not heavy on the mayo like some places. Defn repeatable. Mixed berry muffin: the berries were fresh but the muffin itself didn't stand out. Probably need to try the cinnamon roll. So good I was excited for my next visit before I even ordered! One glance at the menu and my eyes lit up with the endless breakfast possibilities. Do I go cinnamon roll? Breakfast burritos, and if so, which one? Or do I go breakfast sandwich? I do love a good biscuit afterall. I had originally come across Busy Bee's on Yelp and was drawn in by their massive cinnamon roll, so that was a must. Perfect for sharing too, since it is so big. For my main breakfast though, I got the Biscuit Sandwich, which was massive. It was loaded up with bacon and the scrambled egg spilling over the side. Made me full for many hours, but was so worth it. Came here on a Saturday morning and the place was poppin'. Time for hot breakfast items to come out was about 20 minutes after ordering. Luckily that did not include the cinnamon roll, which we got right away. I had planned on only taking a bite or two and saving the rest to share with others later, but it was so good I ended up taking about 5 bites before saving the rest. Can't wait to come back here and try some of the breakfast burritos. They have some very unique options you don't typically see, so excited to see if they taste as good as they sound! read more

Came across this place and knew I had to try their cinnamon roll. You order inside of the restaurant and pick up your order through their pick up window. There is no indoor seating, but there is some outdoor seating available. You can order to go or dine in. We tried one of their burritos with green salsa on the side. Their salsa was delicious! I ordered their In Da Club sandwich, but ended up getting their BLTA. It was still very delicious. Their cinnamon roll is delicious! They warmed it up, so we ate it while we waited for our food. Me and the kids came here for breakfast on an early Friday although there is only outdoor seating, it's still really nice. There was a little bit of mist coming down from the fog, but we were able to enjoy our mail together. I've included some pictures. We traveled for the holiday and heard great things about this place and wanted to try it. We went in and discovered the menu had great options and hubby loves biscuits. However it has tons lots of cashews to which we are anaphylactic. We expressed we had a tree nut allergy and asked if they could clean off an area for our dish and was told they would not try to accommodate us. They wouldn't even try. What we have had here is good, but probably not the best we've had around town... * Reuben -- Good thick cuts of pastrami, loads of sauerkraut sandwiches in toasted rye. Tasty, and great rye bread. * Tuna Melt -- Meh. Canned tuna, some melty cheese in the middle. Toasted herb bread is nice but a bit dry. Not particularly memorable. (I like my tuna melt with house made tuna, nicely buttered grilled sourdough... extra points for grilled cheese crust.) If your a Busy Bee like myself, cooking a healthy delicious breakfast is too time consuming for my lifestyle. I've never seen Busy Bees Cafe & Catering before and knew I had to try it. Ordering the eggs with hollandaise the fit bowl, and the bacon lettuce tomato sandwhich. I love how fresh and high quality veggies that were used. The egg with hollandaise which was huge and could be enough for at least two meals comes with an overwhelming amount of green onions which I LOVED adding a fresh aromatic taste in the eggs.I really enjoyed the combination of the slightly lemony richness of the hollandaise with the hearty salty potatoes and of course, a ton of cheese which was the cherry on top. If there's one thing on the menu that I would recommend and in my opinion is even better id the BLT sandwhich. Fresh crunchy fluffy toasted bread sandwiching the freshest lettuce, tomatoes, crunchy thick bacon, and a perfectly cooked egg with a runny yolk.
