I hired Busy Boys in June to paint the trim on my house. Yes, the service was late, and I was OK with that. The painter completed the job and I paid him. The next day I "inspected" the job. It was the an awful job to say the least. Paint was spattered on the house. There were several areas that he had missed.....not painted. I contacted them in the Fall when the work they had done was peeling and bubbling (as they had not sanded), the owner, Barrett, came and looked at the work. He was disappointed and told me I could get a refund. Now I am being ignored. I have a horrible paint job, and looks like no refund. Do not hire this company. I used Busy Boys to help me put together a closet organizer and then some other # "Handy man" projects and I was satisfied. Then I asked them to power wash our deck and they did a terrible job. It took them forever to get to it, then it looked like they barely touched it. When I called about it, They were to return and redo, but they never did finish. We contacted Busy Boys to give us an estimate to repair a few cracks in our ceiling. After no response for over a week, we decided to search elsewhere for a more dependable company. We always try to look for small business entrepreneurs, but after reading the experience many of their customers had with them, I'm happy they didn't get back with us. I had high hopes for this company but they failed miserably. First they told me that they would call me later that evening with an estimate; that didn't happen. Days later I sent a text message requesting an update regarding my estimate; they never responded. I called them later that same day and it sounded like I woke them up. I was then told that the full service garden center that they use was closed the last several days (not true) but they would go there the following day and would send me my estimate that following day; that didn't happen. A week later they sent me a text message requesting my email address so that they could send me their estimate; still have not received my estimate. read more

I hired busy boys last fall to do some handy man jobs around the house, one of them was painting a room we were redoing. Called them, got a response right away and they said they'd be over next week. I had Busy Boys do some yard work for me this spring. I was quoted $35 an hour. I assumed it was for both guys well I found out it wasn't. I was very disappointed. They did a good job but I guess I expected them to say that the $35.00 an hour would be for both guys. read more
