I remembered my father coming here to have his protection screen to be replaced. The service was fast and cheap.

Ah, the decently large mall that is a nostalgic time capsule of retail therapy. This place has it…read moreall: from Apple (because who doesn't need another overpriced gadget) to Build-A-Bear (for those days when you just need to stuff a bear with love and personal issues), and Crocs (because comfort over fashion is sometimes the way to go). The variety of stores here is like a buffet for your wallet, offering a little something for everyone. I love visiting occasionally to shop and hang out with friends. It's a great spot to bond over spontaneous purchases and the eternal debate of whether we really need another pair of shoes. I used to be a regular here, practically a mall rat. But, you know, adulting happened. Still, every trip down these halls is a stroll down memory lane. Malls are like dinosaurs - magnificent, nostalgic, and unfortunately, a bit endangered. But I hope this one never goes extinct. It holds too many memories, and let's be real, where else am I going to find a place with such a perfectly balanced blend of capitalism and camaraderie in the five boroughs?

You also have so many restaurants and shops to chose from, The vendors and store workers have good costumers service as well. I know do to the internet the shopping malls are becoming obsolete. But if you love the feel of the big city crowds and scenery along with being out with family and friends or just even by your self, the shopping malls won't ever fade away. Queens center mall still the place to be in 2025. I'm not just saying this because queens is the place I call home but it is the home of queens center mall.

In fact, this is a pretty awesome little Chinese shopping court with some good food and cute little places. These mutli-business little court things are the heart and soul of Chinatown and I love exploring them, and this is one of the better ones around Flushing's bustling East Asian heartland.

The sign let me know that Best Northern Dumpling had moved there, so I wondered what else could be inside. Was this another food court? In the middle of the plaza (a long hall really) was good Ol' Best Northern, it was comforting to see the same menu, like seeing an old friend. We enjoyed some fluffly veggie buns here, as they were out of most other things. At the end of the hall was a stall with zero English posted anywhere and zero English spoken. I didn't want to give up, because the little pork wontons being made looked so good, so after several minutes, I got them to serve me something. I just wasn't sure what.... For $3 I got a boiling hot (no, really, I burnt my mouth badly) cup of pork wonton soup. The wontons with their silken wrappers and slightly sweet pork contents were the star, though the delicate broth was impressive too. And they don't cheap out on the wontons, the soup was full of them. There is a bit of a timing issue here though, you want to let the soup cool, but as you wait the wonton skins slowly disintegrate. The proper gobble method must be a skill learned with practice.
