This is still a really nice mall, it gives you the whole mall experience from the nice smell of auntie Annie's to the smell of honey roasted peanuts. You also have so many restaurants and shops to chose from, The vendors and store workers have good costumers service as well. I know do to the internet the shopping malls are becoming obsolete. But if you love the feel of the big city crowds and scenery along with being out with family and friends or just even by your self, the shopping malls won't ever fade away. This mall is rather large. This was second visit to the mall-- my first visit was back in 2006 or 2007. I still remembered that visit because I was impressed with the mall, on my first visit. I was able to shop at a few stores for my daughter, like Abercrombie and Zara. Queens Center Mall on Queen's Boulevard has improved in my experience. They appear to draw new businesses when a business closes. I'm sure it takes a long time. I'm not visiting frequently because it is almost a hour on two subway trains to get here. It was sad when H&M closed but Zara is coming and a store called Primark. There's lots of food choices and big name restaurants around the perimeter of the mall. The mall is clean and has places for me to sit to rest. The bathrooms are clean when I visit and well supplied. I'm glad to enjoy acting like a mall rat. I'm reminded of when my daughter was growing up in Florida and we were always at the mall! read more

Nice mall and very convenient to get there by train and bus if you live in NYC. It is probably the biggest mall in NYC because it is filled with so many stores such as Macy's, JC Penney, and the Apple Store. The mall is very big and has 3 levels and a lower level and is divided in two halves with the food court ending in the first half of the mall. The food court consists of many cool eats and to name a few, there's Chick Fil A, Bonchon, Chipotle, Charleys Philly Steaks, Noodle House, Sarku Japan, The Halal Guys, KFC, Panda Express, and sbarro. Also this mall carries Cheesecake Factory, Applebees, Starbucks, and Shake Shack so you know this mall has a lot of variety and diversity when it comes to food. One thing I wish this mall has is more bathrooms because of the size of this mall and having to walk a lot to reach a bathroom is not convenient. This mall has a nice floor to walk on and you can see other levels as you walk. Many escalators around you so it saves you from having to walk a lot. Many shops and stores geared to many people of different cultures, age and gender. This mall is very big so it might take a day or two to finish every store. This review is for the EV charging station. Didn't know that charging in Queens/NYC requires you to pay for garage parking plus EV fees! (There are other charging stations located next to gas stations that don't require garage fees.) Typically it's $6 for 2 hours, but still the garage fee adds up! We came here around 8 AM on a weekday. There were a number of Telsla and non-Telsla charging stations. There were a number of people just hanging out by their Telsla charging portals. I was confused why they don't just go inside the mall. And then I realized that the mall wouldn't open until 10 AM. Also later I found out that if you let your car just sit there after the charge is full, you will be charged with additional fees of idling. So when in NYC, you gotta do what the New Yorkers do. I ended up walking down and back up on the car ramps, fortunately no cars around because the mall wasn't officially open. It was around $15 for around 100 miles, plus $6 of parking fee. I'd say it's fairly reasonable for charging in the city. Convenience? Hmm, not so sure. read more

Queens Center has always been the go-to mall for every family or friend hangout in my life. There's so much to like about it! It's huge, with a lot of different stores, food courts, and entertainment areas. As a frequent shopper, it never gets old... until it gets old. The Queens Center that I go to now is nothing like how it was before. The ambiance isn't the same, kind of like that nostalgic smell is gone. Other kids vandalize and smoke everywhere, pretending to fight other people, and the mall security does nothing about it! All in all, this is still a great mall with a lot of different opportunities to explore, just be attentive and alert when you go shopping! read more

Unfortunately, I have not been there in about ten years. But I lived nearby just off Woodhaven Blvd back in the 1970s and it was probably the best time of my life. Plenty to do at Queens center mall, Juniper Valley park, shopping and dining places abound. Nearby was Macys. Subways and buses to get around, but the area is quite walkable. Diverse population- all colors and types of people and everyone got along. You never heard of crime or gang activity. read more

This is one of the larger malls and all of the 5 boroughs. It has quite a bit of things inside of it. And it's not sweltering, like other. They have a great variety of stores, restaurants, quick bites and even a food court as a gen x'er, This is the quintessential space that I hope never goes away. I walked into Queens Center and was immediately hit with the smell of pretzels and nostalgia. Those of us in Manhattan and Brooklyn get a rare dose of a mall and it felt good to be walking around an indoor shopping center. For a Wednesday night it felt pretty busy. The selection of stores is good, things seem new + updated. And again, it smells like pretzels which is a plus. Besides nostalgia, the real beauty of this mall is the food court. Burmese Bites is reason enough to come. Please eat here if you come here - Being able to support local business inside a mall food court is like a dream. Not sure why this mall has such low reviews! It's beautiful and clean and has tons of different stores. There's a big food court on the lowest level, and there are also food kiosks and restaurants throughout the mall. Some stores and kiosks have closed, but new ones open up fairly quickly after old ones shut down. There are 3 floors to explore, and I still haven't seen the whole mall. Queens Center is much like any other shopping mall however this one is three floors and has basically any store you can think of shopping in. The location is very easy to get to and they have a very nice amount of parking for you to get so you don't need to circle lots like many other malls you may go to. The food court has so many different choices to pick from such as Charleys Steaks to sit down places such as Cheesecake Factory and Applebees. The prices at these locations are the same generic prices like all of their other locations. The food court has a nice amount of seating and you shouldn't have to worry about finding a table to eat at because even if it is busy people eat rather quickly and move on to the next location they are shopping at. Three floors of places to shop?! RIP my wallet! They have many different places to shop from such as the Applestore to Build-a-bear for your children(or you) to Sephora. Anything you can think of looking to buy, you will be able to find at a store here. The location is also very well lit outside and always seems very clean like the workers are never not cleaning here. If you are here for travel or a local, I think you should stop here if you are looking to buy stuff while you are in the area! read more

The mall has improved over the years for sure. I use to work at the mall 13 years ago and they have literally added a lot more stores than before. Very busy area for sure as it's residential and closer to all form of transportation. The mall has 3 main floors and a ground floor. Parking lots are available at JCPenney and Macy's wing and you can pay before existing at the pay station located on the 2nd floor on both sides of the mall. Bathrooms are located on the 2nd floor on both sides of the mall as well. The mall is like literally divided in half with the connecting bridge in the middle. Starbucks is located on the 2nd floor across from Apple and Pink by Victoria secret. There's Sephora as well on the second floor and a small section of it inside JCPenney. Charlotte Russe has previously closed down but recently opened again on the ground floor on Macy's side across from forever21. On the JCPenney side on the ground floor is the food court. Which is about decent size but it's really crowded during the weekend and holidays. I doubt it you will get a space to sit and there's a play station for the kids as well. Not too long ago they opened up Cheesecake Factory on the first floor of JCPenney side. If you love pretzels the small booths are located on the 1st floor and 2nd floor of JCPenney side and 1st floor of Macy's side. They even serve shaved Ice cream on the ground floor on the Macy's side. There's so much too do once you plan your trip but just be mindful of the day you are visiting. Came here on a quiet weekday, shops were half opened as Covid restrictions are in placed. This mall is no longer bustling with busy shoppers moving store to store. The ever present Macy's also seemed a bit tamed and toned down, no big blowout sales, no long lines. Some stores have security in the front to limit the amount of people inside at a time, I didn't bother waiting in line. Food-court was also emptied; tables and chairs are folded and placed on the side wall. All eateries are just for takeout and grab and go. Bought a bag of pretzels and ate it while walking around. ~Sigh, hope a new year will revitalize this once beautiful mall. read more

You can also reach it via several MTA buses. And if you're driving, it's has a sizable parking garage. Caution, do not confuse this place w/ Queens Place Mall (Target), or Rego Park Mall (Costco); all 3 are close to each other. QCM has 4 levels (lower level is food court), & is filled w/ popular brands. There's 150 different stores, & shopping kiosks to explore. Definitely go to their website to see the full list. Throughout the mall, there's places to sit, & even charge your phone. You could easily spend the whole day here. Fun fact, QCM has the most foot traffic in all of Queens. read more

One of the key reasons I try to stay away from this mall is the parking issues. There is plenty of parking but when you try to leave you find a long line of people trying to pay through one of the electronic cashiers. Most are not working properly. The last time I was there, only one of fully operational the other only accepted card transactions. There are 2 others that were out of order. 2 months ago it was exactly the same situation. You can also pay as you exit but that too was not working Sunday, Oct, 3. 2022. There is a woman that trouble shoots issues . Definitely less people, there was a parking deck that you need to pay for which is very ideal however there weren't many lights so it was difficult to see even in the daytime. This place is great! It's super easy to get to. You can park here; you can walk. You could take the subway - I really like how convenient it is to get here and how there is access to plenty of stores. I have been here several times and always have a great time. This mall is really clean and well maintained. I've come on weekday evenings and on weekends and I've never thought it was too crowded. Even if there are a lot of people here, it's pretty spacious and there are lots of stores that don't get too crowded themselves. The mall staff and sales associates I've had interactions with at Aldo, H&M, L'Occitane, etc were very helpful and courteous. I would definitely come back here to shop more. read more

I do not frequent this Shopping Center often, but the couple of times I've been here it has been a positive experience. There are areas where if weary one can sit and rest while munching on a snack or sipping a beverage. Plenty of stores to go and browse, department stores like Macy's and JCPenney., smaller niche stores. My favorite, the Apple Store. The wait is long sometimes, but that usually happens for service in every Apple Store no matter the location. This time I only had a question about a purchase receipt from Apple. I was told as soon as I showed the agent the email that it was not from Apple, but a scam. Beware! Parking is expensive by Queens standards, yet convenient. Generally, two hours is spent per visit. So many stores so little time. Been here several times when I can just order online and oi k it up from the store that located in the mall. However this Christmas season was different. Everything I needed to bu wasn't online but was most likely limited stock in the store. Was able to grab some things off the list but it's a mad house just days before Christmas. On a regular day, still a lot of people. However easier to go around in. Traffic is crazy so whenever I can take public transportation I would . Just so I can avoid traffic.
