On Monday I gave a call, described the house (5 rooms, 1 large lounge dining and a hall), the carpets (some rooms over 20years and others about 6 years but had never had a clean) and the cat. The quote was done over the phone for around $500 and they could be there from 10:30am on Wednesday. A 30 minute warning telephone call letting us know they were on the way was promised so that would be when we would be able to lock the cat in the laundry. We didn't get the 30min warning call so when the fellow arrived we had to ask him to wait for a moment until we caught the cat. (I think he might have been worried it was an attack cat). Once Ruby was banished to the laundry, it was down to business. The rooms were looked at and we agreed on what furniture was worthwhile moving and what should stay. His offsider then arrived and the vacuuming & steam cleaning began. Both fellows were not only polite but were careful moving furniture and putting back in the same position. It took 2-3 hours. The carpet looks great. I paid by card over the phone to the office. The cat was subsequently released; we expected that she would be freaked; Ruby just walked around inspecting the job, barely raising a meow. read more

My house has cream colored wall-to-wall carpeting. I have lively kids and pets. Basically, it's a recipe for disaster for people who are OCD. I'd rip the carpet out in an instant if it was an option, but I'm stuck with it for the time being. I finally buckled under the pressure and gave Butler a call. They were courteous, responsive, and timely. The two guys who came over were very polite and friendly and did a fantastic job. They didn't cut any corners in their work (no, really, I checked because I can't help myself). A very nice manager came out while they were working to check their work and answer any questions they had. A bonus was that their cleaning agents are eco-friendly, kid/pet safe, and smelled pleasant. No chemical smell that needed airing out. They also have many other services, such as tile, mattress, and mold cleaning. I'm keeping them bookmarked. I am so glad I called them! The OCD gods have been appeased... for now. read more

We had 20 year old carpet, rugs and lounges to be cleaned in Rozelle on 23 Feb. Got a reasonable quote of $450 and they earned every cent of it. The technicians were very courteous and explained everything you needed to know. Shannon did a wonderful job getting all the stains out.
