I strongly recommend Yaki Da if you want to go out in Gothenburg. The club has got four floors…read morewith different vibe on each. The top floor is a restaurant that serves food all night. The charcuterie & cheese plate is amazing and the rest of the menu has also great standard. The first floor is more of a mingel floor and its possible to talk with people without too loud music. Yaki da has also got a coffee bar that serves great coffee and also coffee cocktails for thoose who need. Interiors is great and feels classy. This is a really nice place because the crowd varies a lot and so does the music. Open wednesdays-saturdays. Bring your card, they dont take cash!

Hell yes! This is what I call a good club…read more Was in Gothenburg for a week and I am happy I had the chance to go to this club. 3 floors 4 separate rooms with different music. Very packed. Everyone dancing. What more would one want? On the downside the entrance was 180 plus 25 for the jackets. It was something that made us think twice before going in. However in my opinion it was totally worth it. Tips: 1. Go early to avoid the crowd 2. Don't wear anything too fancy as it gets crazy crowded and people tend to step on you 3. It's a bit underground so if you like it fancy pansy this is not the place to go 4. Leave your jacket at the garderobe as it gets very warm inside and there are no safe areas to leave stuff Regarding the crowd it's a very mixed crowd from early to late 20s from hipster to a bit more fancy. Very good mix with a bit of something for everyone! The interior is like an old house, where they have put in the rooms a dj in a corner and a bar in another. Very homelike feeling. Not like a club at all making it even more special and cool! Try it out!!

I'm a real-life Mexican that grew up in Southern California and I came here with high expectations…read moresince it's run by an ex-pat. The food is ok/decent, but I have a few issues with it. I like that they make their own tortillas; good corn tortillas are hard to source in Sweden and fresh-made have a wonderful softness and pliability that reheated ones do not. However, I feel like the grind on the corn flour could be finer; I found the texture of the tortilla to be a little chunky if that makes sense; the grains were too big in the masa. The taco options were great: carnitas, hongos, fish taco, pollo asado--almost something for everyone. I ordered the fish taco and as a girl who spent a lot of time in Baja California growing up, they're not too far off of the real thing. It was a bit dressed up, but still, the execution of the idea was great. If I have one critique about the fish taco it's that the cilantro stems were too thick and should not have been served on the taco; it would have taken an extra 30 seconds to pluck the leaves. My only gripe with the menu itself was that there was no carne asada. I'm sorry, carne asada is like, the evergreen of the taco world. Go to an Alberto's, or Tacos El Gordo or any taco shop in San Diego, everyone has carne asada. I wouldn't fault them for not being able to do Al Pastor, but come on y'all, carne asada is the best. They have "Aguas Frescas" but I don't think lemonade qualifies and I was a bit disappointed not to see jamaica (not the country, it's hibiscus flower) on the list. Also, get some Jarritos guys, I know there's a distributor in Sweden now. (Soft drinks are on the menu so if they have Jarritos, they're not advertising it enough.) I also ordered the chips & guac. The chips are a mess. They are WAY too thick and they're unpleasant to eat. Either roll out the masa thinner or don't bother. They're just bad. You could do a lot worse in Sweden. Don't get me started on Taco Fredag.

Amazing!!! Home-made…read moretortillas and VERY high quality meat, raw materials. This is the most genuine tacos joint in G-town. Never mind the cashier who refused to let me swap out a meat taco for a fish taco without even a hint of apology or explanation. Never mind the price (229 whis is pretty high for what I consider to be an adequate portion + beer). Who cares! Because the food was f-ing AMAZING! Guacamole that you can tell only has the freshest avocados and plenty of cilantro and lime. The beans ... Well they were good but not at all what I was expecting. But ... The tacos were outstanding. Soft delicious tortillas, freshly seared beef and luxurious pork, salsa verde from heaven with just the right amount of kick and fresh cilantro leaves abound. I just took a 1-hour holiday to southern california/mexico without leaving Sweden, I swear!
