The director of golf welcomed all four of our groups on the first tee. The on course drink service was first rate. Aside from all this superior customer service, the golf course is phenomenal and well maintained. We will be back!

In late July, the club did an "extra assessment" for renovations of approximately $8,000, which I paid because I didn't know about my diagnosis yet. With ALS, playing golf is no longer in the cards, so in November I called the club to end my membership. As the club had just started some of the renovations, I asked if they would consider returning even a portion of the $8,000. Keep in mind this is Not the non-refundable initiation fee - it's an "extra" assessment that I will never benefit from. I was told that the Board would consider it but after 3 weeks they decided NOT to return even a penny of the extra assessment. When my wife called a board member to discuss the member said that we have members die every year and the by-laws say no refunds ever. We have since found out that there aren't any terminal members like me, but that's a whole different story. Look - I understand charters and by-laws, but typically Boards have discretion to judge each situation on its own merit. I think I was expecting a little humanity as I confront the final chapter of my life and I received none. Great Course, Great Staff... Ruthless Board. I need to remove all stress from my life so I needed to write this and then be done.

The menu sounded good but the execution of both of our meals missed the mark. The atmosphere was just okay too. The best part? Our server. He was very courteous and had a great personality. I can't say we're in a hurry to return, but maybe they were having an off night.

Our family has been a member of Pine Hills Country Club for over 16 years. Pine Hills golf course…read moreis absolutely awesome! The greens are some of the fastest in Sheb. County and very well manicured. The course itself has many hills and valleys along with the beautiful Sheboygan River that flows through it. There are many types of mature trees that line the fairways, and the grounds crew do a great job in keeping the course in top shape. Also, there is meticulous care and attention given to the lovely flowers and planting areas. The Club also has tennis courts, and great pool and kiddie pool. It also has a very good restaurant and is able to accommodate large weddings and parties. Pine Hills is a private country club with membership and annual dues. It is a wonderful place for families to be together, whether it be on the golf course, on the courts or in the pool. They also plan several social events for the members and their families. We have enjoy this club during our years as members.

It's a very fancy dancy building that had a big room that had enough space for our group of 40ish people. There's a small side room with a bar. We all started there with some cocktails. When dinner was ready, one of the wait staff had this small bell set and would go back and forth hitting each key. The food was great as we had three options of chicken, steak, or walleye. I had the chicken that was covered in a gravy with potatoes and mushrooms. On the side were some string vegetables. Let's just say I cleaned my plate with no problem. One downside is the drinks were expensive. $6.50 for a 12 oz. bottle of Spotted Cow. I don't even want to know the costs for mixed drinks. In that venue they can get away with that pricing. Any group we ran into were all great people, everyone out there just to have a good time. The bar/grill area is huge, VERY clean and inviting. We could have stayed in the bar for hours during the rain that started after our round but unfortunately had to leave to get back home. Coming out here from Chicago for a guys weekend, we were welcomed by everyone at the course, which is NOT typical of other places we have visited in Wisconsin. I would highly recommend this course. Proved to have some difficult holes but was so much fun. Bathrooms are very clean, easy course to get to and no issues getting a tee time.
