Some are simply cute, but others are quite clever or something a literary person would adore. Think plays on famous book titles ("Still Life with Life"), misattributed philosophical quotes ("The unexamined life is not worth living" - Plato), and general statement buttons (I *heart* polar bears). My wife and I were on a mtb trip in the east coast, and when I asked the guy working there about some local trails he was a total a$$ hole and told me all the trails I was asking about were not real and couldn't give me any recommendations. It stuck with me, he wasn't pleasant, he didn't care to guide me to a dope trail, he just wanted to act like he was the local badass gatekeeper of the terrible trails they have in the area. Thank goodness I'm back in Colorado and would never ever go back to this shop with the attitude and lack of customer service this douche gave my wife and I.
