Anna reached out to me via Facebook to see if I would be interested in doing a photoshoot with her with my husband and puppy.  Of course I said yes.  I had seen Anna's photography work before and it was stunning.  The photoshoot Anna was wanting to do was to advertise a rental property in the area, therefore it was a free photoshoot for us.  Anna agreed to give us copies of the photos as no charge.  My husband and I were super excited, especially because our dog was only a couple months old at the time so we were excited to have puppy pictures of her. We meet Anna at the time and place we agreed on, all went well.  We got pictures inside and some outdoors. Anna even took us to a place she had been wanting to shoot at in the winter.  She was very nice and comfortable to work with.  Our pictures were taken on January 30, 2019. On February 6th, she posted a "sneak peak" photo on her Facebook story saying she was editing. On February 14th, I messaged her asking when she thought we would have the photos back.  She never responded. On April 18th, I messaged her again asking her if she could send us the photos.  She responded and said she would.  But she never did.. On April 22nd, I messaged her AGAIN asking for the photos.  She said "Oh yes, gimme a little bit.  I'm not home yet." No photos. On May 2nd, I asked for them again.  Nothing. On July 13th, I asked for the photos a final time.  No response. Our entire conversation was through Facebook Messenger where you are able to see if someone has "seen" you message.  Anna saw every single message. It is now over one year later, and I noticed my first review (which was almost identical to this one) had been deleted.  Everything I have said is facts.  I have actually heard that this has happened to other families as well.  I don't know why she wouldn't give us our photos, but if she lost them or something happened to them, then I would expect anyone to at least have the decency to let me know and not just ignore me. Anna takes great photos.  But how could I ever recommend her to anyone if you don't receive your photos back from her.  My husband and I are bothered by this because we won't ever see those photos, but I am grateful that I never hired her for a more "special" occasion like our wedding or maturity photos. I wish I could post this review on her business Facebook reviews, but of course she doesn't have that feature turned on... 0/10 DON'T recommend.

I got no response. About two and a half months after the shoot, I sent another message asking if she had the photos for us. She responded and said yes. However, still no photos. A few days pass, and I ask again. She said she would send them when she got home. Still nothing. Then in May, I ask again. No response. It's the middle of July and I message her for the fifth time asking for our photos and no response (however she has read all the Facebook messages I've sent). I have seen a lot of Anna's photography work and I think it's beautiful. However, how can I recommend someone who doesn't response to certain messages or who flat out won't give you your photos?
