She asked all the questions in order to fully understand what I was wanting and then she got to work! She is so nice and so great and knowledgeable!!! I found this salon through an online group and thought I would support a local business and try…read moresomething new. I looked through the photos that the stylist had posted and reached out to her. I sent a photo of the cut and color that I was wanting along with a picture of my hair as it was. The stylist told me to schedule a partial hair color with a haircut. The stylist chopped about 5 inches off of my hair pretty quick and told me she would even it out after it was colored, which was never done. After the color she blow dried my hair and it was gold. I had specifically told her I had dark hair naturally and wanted to stay dark, with no blonde. When I questioned the color I was told it would go to the color I wanted after a wash or two. I told her it wasn't the right color. She asked another stylist for assistance and I was gaslighted and told that it was the color I had asked for. After this, the demeanor of the stylist working on my hair changed and it was no longer a pleasant experience. She attempted to fix it multiple times without success. Ultimately, I was charged almost $300 for bad cut and color, and an over all bad experience. As soon as I left I contacted another salon and got worked in, which costed another $150 to get my hair fixed. I reached out to the stylist at The Beauty Bar for a partial refund due to the poor cut and color, to which I was once again gaslighted and told that she had done what I had asked her to do. I followed that up with multiple phone calls to the Beauty Bar and left my name and contact info each time. I have yet to hear back from anyone. I have attached a photo of what I asked for, along with the cut and color I received.

She connected with a Serologist named Gage and just loved him and the service he provided. It only took one visit for me to also be immediately comfortable with Gage. He was knowledgeable , courteous, and very professional. When you have an intimate service like waxing there are really only two main criteria that matter: technique and trust. Gage established high levels of expertise in both areas from the moment we met, and this was displayed consistently with each and every visit. Unfortunately I got a call this morning from WTC letting me know that Gage was "no longer with the company". I opted to not keep my appt this week and I will be cancelling my monthly subscription. I am determined to find Gage and follow him wherever he ends up. That is what loyalty looks like. Gage made us feel cared for and I know he truly values our relationship and our business, therefore it stays with him.

Maybe that's just me. I've been waxed several times here by several of the waxers. Each time has been a great experience(as great as having your chest waxed can be ). The staff is super friendly, the place is very nice and comfortable, and it's super clean. I get my chest and back waxed. My wife gets a Brazilian her brows done. She loves it too and she's way more picky than I am.
