Plus, us boys need pampering too! When it comes down to barbers in Hooksett, of which you have four choices, I believe modern man is the better choice in terms of skill. I've had "ok" cuts at other local barbers, but Walter and Mike provide a solid cut, every time. Walk-ins are always available, but it's definitely helpful to make an appointment either by phone or online. Cash only.

Di was friendly, and attentive to what I wanted. She worked quickly, and the cut was just right! She's good with conversation, plus she has 2 cute little dogs, who stay out of the way, but are friendly if you're a dog lover. I'll be back. It will be nice to get back to just having one barber!

My barber, Jay, was straight in the zone when he was cutting my hair. The look of concentration on his face told me he takes this seriously but he truly enjoys his work. He was able to do this while keeping friendly conversation as well. So glad I found this place, as I have tried too many sub-par barber shops in concord before this one.
