This is one of the worst tobacco stores I've ever been in, as far as cigars go. One door on the…read morehumidor room is falling off the hinges. I offered to fix it, for free. The owner told me it's just fine the way it is, then gave me a lecture on how smart he is, about "reading people". The cigar selection is limited to a few low quality brands. I found one worth buying when I was at the license office, but when I went in there today, smoking it, to buy the last one of that brand, the owner yelled at me that no smoking is allowed in the store, and I should leave it outside. I left, and I'll never go back. I've been smoking cigars for 22 years, and seriously, the cigars at this place aren't worth buying. Go a few miles farther to the cigar store near 10 and Round lake, or even better, to Ramsey.

I've been here often. The younger people aren't personable & typically get cycled out. it's not…read morevery welcoming. It has a lack of tact. Never a nice "hello!" They don't know how to smile without help. It is clean looking and that takes dedication. I guarantee it's one of the higher ups cleaning it, because these kids don't care. it's fairly clear. Today I coughed while buying pipe tobacco. The young gentleman who was looking down at his book behind the left counter, looks up & goes UH OH! it could be pipe tobacco which is for taste, or the multitude of scents in your store. Who knows maybe I'm a 2 pack a day guy! yea! besides the point-That's more than just a slip up. This happened at noon today. Tan guy who according to another guy working there. Isn't all that nice. (I was told that on an earlier date) Each time I've seen you there's always something dumb right off your tongu. Example (hand to God) & funny as hell a while ago- Real conversation: He" I'm from far away" Me" Oh yea? Neat why come here, opportunity?" "No, I could have stayed in my country." "Ok than why?" "My family owns a shop here so I can work." ..... I don't even know if that's true, but these are the people you're dealing with. The older dude who manages it. Middle aged, is awesome. I plan to keep up with them for a tribune piece my uncle wanted help with. A Tribune writer. (only web though.) I'm done ranting. I wish the business well actually. I'm not even mad. I just think it takes brute honesty. I care enough to type some words, that's it. It's not my money to hire with or learn from. i can only give what I've really heard. An earnest account. I wish them the best. Like Churchill said, I expect the best & this place could be that overnight.
