They helped me plan and design the flowers for our wedding, and were available for guidance and advice for months leading up to our event. Their store hours are very flexible making it easy to setup meetings, and they were able to schedule meetings on the fly. Additionally, they volunteered to make trips out to our venues to maximize our floral capabilities. Bridget and Dave showed up in advance to day-of setup time and even brought an extra team member, ensuring that there was zero setup anxiety on the day of the wedding. I have total faith and trust in their reliability. They never made our event seem like another job - instead, they truly made me feel like our wedding was an event in which they were excited to partake. They were very understanding on the limitations of our budget. So much so, that they even helped us setup other wedding tasks such as candles, and also delivered our "used" arrangements to our house after the wedding for a second chance at life. Lastly but most importantly, David and Bridget have a solid understanding of taste. Their floral palette is mature, modern and eccentric. In floral design, these qualities are difficult to find in the Midwest. They took our wedding vision and brought it to life through many details, and we still get complimented that it was the best and most unique flowers people have seen at a wedding. I discovered Botanical Designs through their website and photos! I was also able to find exactly what I was looking for! It was a beautiful single rose design -- but truly spectacular! It was also called, "My One and Only" -- so perfect for a wedding rehearsal dinner. When I called to order, they were so friendly, and professional and discussed the color choices and made recommendations, as well. I arranged to have them delivered to the venue. The week prior, I called to update them with the hours the venue might be available for delivery. I spoke with another person at Botanical Designs, who was equally personable and he assured me that they would take care of the details. He was very reassuring. She put together a beautiful fall bouquet and googled all the flowers to make sure they were safe for my pets! One thing to note is the flowers and fillers are priced per stem and they range from $2-$5. My bouquet ended up being $50, but was well worth it supporting a small business and having a beautiful bouquet to look at all week.
