I just never heard of a car dealership working like this.. I was driving by byrider and saw a vehicle I was interested in, It was late a they were close, sothenext day I called to ask some questions like the year,the milage and of course the price...The lady who answered my call said we don't work that way, she said I needed to come in and fill out a credit application and if I qualify I would be fitted to a vehicle I could afford it might be the one I was interested in. WTF! who does bussiness like that.? I have excellent credit and could probably buy any one of those car on that lot to have somebody tell me they're going to fit me with what they want me to have..PLEASE! don't not purchase a car from Byrider its BS the warranty is full of shit all they are going to say is what ever is wrong with the car they can't cover it even with the warranty. had my car for three to four months and the engine blew out so they say. i only go to work and back home in the car my job is around the corner from my house and they said I put 14 thousand miles on the car within three to four mouth lie. after I took it to Byrider for a check up the mechanic only told me it was a miss fire when he hooked the code reader up to it. then they say there was no oil in the car so the engine is bad even though they are supposed to cover engine damage. and I have all my receipts from all the oil changes I've gotten on the car witch was only two oil changes in the short span of time I've had the car. So incredibly rude. I truly don't know if the sales guy Tim just lacks the competence needed to read my server paystubs or he couldn't look past his own pretentious ego. Never in my life have I been talked to in a rude and vulgar way. I'm a 22yr old woman and he had the audacity to insinuate I made my money through an independent contract (meaning exotic dancer or other) it was disgusting and quite frankly made me severally uncomfortable that I left as well as he would talk about me like I wasn't there saying "she can explain her story to someone else" who you have working for you says a lot about you and your integrity, so I'd pay more attention to who you have in your frontline. AG Healey Sues Auto Dealer JD Byrider for Predatory Sales and Loan Practices "Buy Here Pay Here" Dealerships in Massachusetts Sold Poorly Reconditioned Cars to Drivers with Unaffordable Loan and Extended Warranty Packages BOSTON - Attorney General Maura Healey announced today that she has sued Massachusetts used car dealership JD Byrider for allegedly using predatory practices in its sale of defective vehicles with high cost loans at four locations in Massachusetts. The AG's lawsuit alleges that JD Byrider took advantage of consumers by routinely trapping them in an unsustainable and unfavorable sales package, known as the "JD Byrider Program." This program generally involves selling drivers a poor quality car with a high cost loan, along with an expensive extended service contract, marketed through an aggressive and misleading advertising and sales campaign. "We allege that JD Byrider ripped off Massachusetts drivers by offering predatory loans for defective and inoperable cars," said AG Healey. "Our goal in this lawsuit is to recover losses to Massachusetts consumers and make this company pay for the harm they caused to thousands of drivers across this state." The AG's Office filed the lawsuit today in Suffolk Superior Court against Venturcap Investment Group V, LLC - d/b/a JD Byrider - and its in-house lender, Venturcap Financial Group, LLC - d/b/a Credit Now Acceptance Corporation. JD Byrider is a franchise of Byrider Franchising, LLC, a national franchisor of JD Byrider "Buy Here Pay Here" dealerships located across the country that typically provide credit to finance the cars they sell. In Massachusetts, Byrider's Venturcap Franchise has dealerships at four locations; Brockton, Dorchester, Dartmouth and Springfield. According to the complaint, consumers were unaware that JD Byrider priced its cars at more than double their retail value, and required drivers to sign on to a car loan with an annual percentage rate of 20 percent, regardless of their credit qualifications. JD Byrider bundles its expensive and limited extended service contract into the loan as well, forcing consumers to pay 20 percent interest on that product. To get the benefit of the service contract, consumers are then required to use a JD Byrider service center. The AG's Office alleges that the cars sold by JD Byrider are defective and sometimes inoperable, despite misrepresentations of time and money spent reconditioning them prior to sale. Hundreds of cars have been returned by consumers to JD Byrider for repair within three months of purchase due to the mechanical breakdown of a major component such as the engine, electrical system, transmission, brakes, or drive train. The AG's complaint further alleges that JD Byrider employs a faulty underwriting process that underestimates the consumer's expenses and costs in order to qualify them for loans they can't afford. As a result of these practices, the AG's complaint alleges, more than half of JD Byrider's deals fail or end in repossession, causing substantial and long-term economic harm to consumers not just due to the inflated costs, but due to losing transportation and suffering long term damage to their credit as well. read more

My husband tells Tim flow what if I get pulled over for these plates, Tim replies you won't get pulled over but all of a sudden hands my husband a piece of paper with his contact information and says here you go just in case you get pulled over. Ive only had this car for two months and in the first two weeks of having this car I've had nothing but problems and have done nothing to help fix them except blame my husband and I for the car they sold us that they never inspected before the sold the car to the customer and Tim Flow's excuse was to the mechanic was because he was busy and was in a hurry to do so. I'm 6 months pregnant and I have bought a car that in anyones case should never have to wonder if their car is safe or let alone for the safety of my family and others for that matter all because these people at the dealership are too busy enough to inspect any vehicle they take in but they arent busy to make a quick buck when it comes to someones safety they say it's my fault and my problem. So I am only giving them a star because I have to. Everyone that works in the CNAC office is rude, I have never had ANY person that works ANYWHERE talk to me like I am trying to steal my car from them until I had the displeasure of speaking with Melissa. They charged my mother-in-laws card automatically after she paid a payment for me that was awesome, mostly because their solution was "well why not just give her the $200 in cash instead of us crediting her money back" like she didn't have her own bills to pay. I was never given the carfax though I asked for it multiple times, in the 5 months that I have had my car I have had to put it in their shop 3 separate times the last two times could've been once had the guy listed to me when I said I was pretty sure it was the fan and not the thermostat.
