To find out she no longer works there makes me not want to shop there anymore. Especially after my experiences with the new people they have working there. That new guy was extremely rude,impatient and is always on his phone while customers are trying to pay for their items. The new girl, is just as worse than that new guy. She acts like she doesn't want to be there, the people who come there are broke and she has to tell you the cost of every item you ask for without asking her for the price(s). She should learn that some of us are/were regulars and know the price(s) of our regular items. She also holds on to item until your transaction is clear. Which is extremely rude and judgemental. SUE, WOULD NEVER DO THAT! The whole vibe of the place is no longer welcoming. I rather go down the street to the other convenience store by the middle school rather than deal with the new people and their bias. Which sucks for the restaurant that's inside, they have amazing food and the people who work there are great people who take pride in their food. Everytime I've ever entered the store they are helping a line of customers or keeping their space cleaned. They are never just standing around. Also their tacos are amazing.

I could see that the gas was 10 cents cheaper at the Valero and I was short on cash so I pulled in. I usually pay with cash because you get a better price. Unfortunately as I was pulling in I noticed that the price and even though they have separate columns for cash and credit, this place has them the same price. OK, fine. I wasn't even out of my car for a minute and some bum approached me. Did I mention this was 9:30 in the morning???? There were two guys standing in front of the business (separately) drinking booze out of their brown paper bags... It is a TRAVESTY that this place has a rating of 4.5 stars. If you must stop in this area for any reason, and only if you must, take my advice and go to the Chevron across the street!!!

He didn't seem friendly, but then, he probably gets the "You're a terrorist!" look all the time, which would be sad. I found the drinks, although they were sort of hidden. I think there is a concentration on the alcohol, which is fine, but not what I wanted. The soda was a bit expensive for a 32 ounce at $1.79 but so what? They're not McDonald's and they had what I wanted, on tap, as it were. :-D The woman behind the register was very friendly and efficient.
