Coté Mer was hands down the best meal I had while vacationing in Brittany for a week. The restaurant is located a little down the road from the hustle and bustle of the center of Dinan's little port and has a gorgeous waterfront view. It's a nice restaurant so make sure you dress appropriately. There a number of different menus concocted by the chef that vary in price-range so no need to (completely) break the bank to enjoy the delicious food here. You can also order à la carte. Everything we ate was beautifully presented, refined and incredibly good. A nice change if, like me, you get a little tired of living off a diet of crepes and cider. Excellent food, lovely seaside view from a table by the window of the incoming tide. We enjoyed lobster, scallops and oysters, all the sur de mer, perfectly prepared. The warm foie gras entree was beautifully sautéed and delicious. Deserts were also tasty. Service was a bit slow at the end of our evening, but all the ladies were warm and tried to be helpful with limited English. It was a lovely evening. read more
