Their flower pots, potted plants and other accessories are double to triple the price of their competitors. For example it was $60 for a potted plant that I saw the same day for $30 at a NJ competitor. Their individual produce & herb plants are .50-$1.50 more each... might not seem like a lot but it definitely adds up. Their garden furniture is also extremely expensive as well, great quality but ridiculously overpriced..... I hate to say it but this is why people shop Amazon, Lowe's, homedepot and Walmart in 2020 for garden furniture........ Prices were so insanely high the whole store I still can't get over it, especially because they advertise how they have great prices (when they don't!).......... I had to use the bathroom when I was there and I think a Porta potty would have been better. The bathroom was in a creepy back room up the steps, to the left in an oddly large room with rusted soap and it looked haunted........ Sorry to say it but I don't know how much longer they can stay in business given their prices are so high. They advertise that they are 40-60% lower than the rest but it's just not true. They should advertise that they price match other farms because they're losing a lot of business. It was worth the 20 min drive South West to save myself the $75 bucks as we bought many flower and vegetable plants on our last visit. Yes I am talking about Gasko's. Sorry guys but I won't be back....

Dennis of American Shed Builders showed up when he said he would, and was knowledgeable and accommodating. (He said that his guys would take the minimal stuff out of my existing shed before they knocked it down, and then put it all back in the new shed. And that's exactly what they did.) The pricing was transparent; he brought a price list and color charts with him that he left with me, and based on my existing shed he recommended one of the models in an appropriate size. On the day the new she was to be installed, his guys showed up as promised. They emptied out my existing shed, took it down (and took away the shed remnants for recycling), put up the new shed, put on its siding, and painted the doors the color I had chosen. They showed me how the doors and ramp worked, and were out of here a little more than four hours after they arrived. I am glad I chose American Shed Builders, and when I look out my window, I'm so glad to see my new shed instead of the rusting hulk that it replaced.

We sat at the chef's table and had a limited 4 course selection to choose from. It began with a wonderful tuna crudo that was light and almost summery with the strawberries and cucumbers that surprisingly complimented the incredibly flavorful tuna. The spinach gnudi was a small salad that also had a number of components I would have never dreamed to combine, but they all paired nicely with each other. The main course was a lamb that was perfectly cooked, and though I didn't care for the accompaniment of figs, the rest of the dish more than made up for it. To finish off, we ended with asian pear crisp. You don't often see Asian pears incorporated into cooking. However, Asian pears actually being one of my favorite fruits this was welcome surprise and fantastic way to end the evening. Or so it would be, had they not brought out an additional crem bruele for my birthday, which was also excellent. I very very much enjoyed my meal here and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone. Sitting at the chef's table is also a special treat as I thoroughly enjoyed watching that process that is traditionally kept behind closed doors. I will definitely be making a return trip whether it's for new menu offerings or to try one of their cooking classes.

However, due to some work in living room I needed different paint. I took a chip and went to Hone Depot to match. Came back and touched up and it wasn't close. I looked at the kitchen paint and saw the sticker from Painters Express. So I tried there. Although it was a small chip, the gentleman worked with me for several minutes to try and find a match. We found one that appeared close. I went home and used it and it was an exact match. If you look hard enough, you can see a slight difference but that's expected with new batches of paint and one on a wall from a few years. Fast forward to this Sunday. I needed to do some touchup upstairs. I thought it was the same brown as kitchen so I used that extra paint. It wasn't. It was so noticeable and looked horrible. I went to Painter's Express with a bigger chip (cut a piece from laundry room behind the washer). The kid used it to come up with a few possibilities. He got all 5-6 swatches and compared. We found 1 that looked really close. He mixed it. Then he painted a little on the swatch and tried with a hair dryer. It was exact. I came home and used it on the needed spots and it's not noticeable. It's an exact match. By taking the time to find these two matches, Painters Express saved me time and money. Thank you!!!
