Stopped at the local pizza shop for a quick bite to eat. Food was good. The restaurant is very casual with only a few tables for dining in. There is no serving staff. You order at the counter and someone will deliver your order to the table. I ordered some comfort food during my visit. Can't go wrong with a cheesesteak and fries. The cheese was melted with the meat making it gooey and messy but delicious. Just enough sauce was added to the top of the sandwich to make it perfect. read more

Outdoor parking is not the best but let's be honest this isn't an extremely populated area. Had eggplant fries (first time having these ever) and they were tasty and light. Pretty unique. This is about the point of our TX to NY road trip when I start to lose my mind. The importance of a good meal stop can be a life saver. That was the case today. We are not an easy bunch to please: one vegetarian, one foodie, one contrarian and a hangry teen. It's tricky to find places right off the highway that please us all. C & C did that. Thanks so much, C & C! We had the eggplant fries (wow - light, crispy fried goodness, dipped in marinara), taco pizza (crazy-good crust, would like to try a whole pie with diff toppings), 2 turkey melts and and an eggplant sub. The bread/breading/crust on all was amazing! You can tell they make the crust and bread in house. And that they are great at baking! One more thing: this place was super clean. not fancy, but impeccably clean. How do they even get it so clean? Germaphobes, you will be okay here. I'm book-marking so we can stop again on the next road trip. Hope I remember to bring them a TX bottle opener for the cute collection they have on the wall by the beer cases. Stopped in here this evening while traveling for work. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. They have a lot to offer on the menu. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap with a side order of french fries. It was probably the best chicken caesar wrap that I've ever had. The french fries were good as well. Large serving size for a side order. I would highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area. They also have a nice selection of adult beverages in the coolers. Great perk! read more

We had such a pleasant experience here. We found C&C on yelp while driving home from Knoebels. It's conveniently located near the Strausstown exit. The staff was so warm and welcoming, despite the fact we showed up close to closing. Our food was excellent- eggplant parm, cheesesteak, Italian hoagie and spaghetti. The prices were fair, the menu very extensive, and service was excellent. It was fascinating to watch them cleanthe restaurant at closing. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years, and was so impressed. They literally cleaned EVERY surface, including the register screen, coffee dispenser handles, and both sides of the front door. The bathrooms were spotless. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again. Our family of four was completely satisfied! read more

Ordered a large veggie pizza after a 3 day drill weekend. It tasted so good after eating MREs all weekend. The crust is not to flimsy and isn't too thick on top. It came right out the oven. When we made the way all the way home it was just the right temperature to dig in. Made me feel much better about being in rain and mud all weekend. read more

Driving across Pennsylvania on Rte. 78 with my family & we needed a bite to eat for dinner. Using Yelp we found C& C Pizza not far from the Strausstown exit. We ordered Neopolitan pizza & a couple of salads. The salads were nicely portioned and tasty. The pizza was very reminiscent of any really good pizza from NYC. Very clean rest rooms. Shouldn't 4 stars say it all? Lets start with how super friendly the owner and his staff are to everyone that comes in the door. I just moved here, I was treated as if I had been coming in for 20 years. There are places I have been going to for 10+ that don't treat me that nice. The food, the homemade bread OH mama mia!!!
