We called Lawngevity Landscaping, they talked us into doing a more expensive option for 60,000 with three walls. The agreement being that they would remove the previous retaining wall, lay out new ones and smooth out the backyard. They removed most of the old retaining wall, smoothed out the backyard, and placed a few of the old pieces of the retaining wall back in our backyard. They covered it with dirt, leaving a very uneven surface. They added dirt once: ineffective band-aid fix. As the dirt fell away a small, camouflaged obstruction was created. I tripped in the small divet created at the base of that camouflaged piece of wall. I broke my foot and was unable to care for my family or work for six weeks. I told the company and it has still not been fixed. I would strongly discourage anyone from using them without verifying that they won't rush the job. Finishing a job in three days is only good if the job is done correctly and responsibility is taken!

I retracted my last review because I wanted to give them an opportunity to improve their after-sale…read moreservice. I have to say the crew undoubtedly worked very hard and long hours. But the owner is a whole different story, we spent $100k on our landscaping project, he was very accomodating before the final payment was made, then right after, his whole attitude changed. There was never anybody answering the phone at the office, he never replied to phone messages I have left, when texted him with the requests, he said he doesn't like customers texting him and he blocked us from any further textings, funny thing is, he never complained about us calling and texting him before the final payment was made. The plantings have a one year warranty, the patios and stoneworks have 2 year warranty, but it was like pulling teeth when we requested him to replace the dead shrubs and repair some pavers. When he fianally sent someone "Bob" over to fix the problems today, he was rude and full of attitude, accusing us for being unreasonable. OUTRAGEOUS!!! $100k was not a small project, there are bound to be needing fine tunings and adjustments, that's what warranties are for! But according to the owner and this particular worker, the paying customer is considered too demanding to request for repairs on patios or replacement of dead plants. I will never use this company again!
