When it was delivered the edges weren't smooth and if you looked on the underside of the table it was VERY obvious it wasn't barn wood. Called the Lady that owns this place and she played dumb like she had no idea. So after several back and forth conversations they remade a table top and were supposed to come to our house and change out the tops (attaching to the legs). The guy they hire to drop off the tables refused to help assemble. just dropped off a table top and let me add its still not reclaimed barn wood. We were even told by an employee that they just cut down trees and let them age a little and use those. NOT barn wood so this owner is very dishonest. The new top has 2 supports underneath that are NOT even One goes all the way to the edge and the other is inset like it should. It looks terrible and they paid good money to be ripped off.

I purchased two items at full price and made an offer on an item I was sure wouldn't sell unless I bought it. The woman with the long grey hair just responded with, "10% off if you pay with cash". That's standard practice in EVERY antique mall in America and not what I was even asking. I inquired about 20% off the item and she didn't bother to call the dealer to ask (perhaps she was the dealer, not sure?). Either way, prices are apparently non-negotiable here. It sucks that beautiful piece will languish there forever. On a positive note, I like that they have a separate building for primitives so I can easily avoid them. Overall it's worth a stop, but I expected better quality items from an "antique capital".
