Mark spent a lot of time talking with us about the different styles and materials available and helped us select something that would compliment the house. His crew were very hard working and professional and did an amazing job with all the details of such a big project. The wall and walkway turned out so well that we had people stopping in their cars to tell us how much they liked it. Mark also designed and installed a patio in our backyard which looks beautiful and makes the space much more useable. We highly recommend Mark and his team. For the $700 they charged, I would expect the weeds not to grow so fast. I should note, just before they left, they rinsed off the rocks after they were place. This create an area for the weeds to grow. I called at least three times and they said they would be out next week to 'take care of it'. They never showed nor called to set up a time. The fourth time there was no response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There has to better ones out there that will stand by their work.

Ely listened to our design plans and made suggestions to improve and refine the completed project. He coordinated other contractors to complete plumbing and more complicated electrical work, so we didn't have to fret over finding other professionals. He removed the old dysfunctional showers, drywall, lath and mortar. With the studs exposed he examined the condition of the framing and, where needed, added new lumber to support the 100-year-old studs, used waterproofing materials to prevent future water damage, and reinforced the subflooring for the new shower. Then he placed new drywall and used a laser to guide plaster application to level the walls...a necessity in a century-old building. Afterwards, he placed the imported Italian tiles with exacting precision. Once the tilework was completed Ely installed the shower basin that he ordered custom-made. Once that was completed, he installed the ceiling-mounted commercial hospital grade track for the shower curtain, new electrical outlet, ceiling fan and lighting (in addition to lighting in four other areas of the house) and venting. As you can see, Ely's masterful craftsmanship, attention to detail and high professional standards have resulted in a spectacular new bathroom; and the second bathroom is just as awesome. We have more renovation projects planned in the near future and B & E Construction is the only company we would trust to complete them. In short, Ely was always punctual, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

To jump right to it, not only do our walls look amazing - they were built with absolute precision and expertise. Both Adam and his assistant, Nick, instilled immediate confidence in us and were an absolute pleasure to work with start to finish. And clean as heck! Do not use this company for custom glass! I had a custom glass shower door/panel installed for my…read morewalk in shower. Since this is custom they sent out their own person to measure the glass. Normally when a professional measures for the glass they would account for all slopes. I have a tile bench that required a notch cut. the bench is sloped so water will run properly. The first panel was cut wrong and the company had to reorder. They blamed the manufacturer. The second panel was cut to almost the exact measurement for the lip which didn't account for the rail thickness/slope. So this panel was not going to fit unless the backing for the Channel rail was removed on the under side lip of the bench. I was okay with this being done as no one will know this was done except for myself and the installer. I also was going on the third scheduled install with them and was ready to have the glass done. They then proceeded to install my shower door. I asked them not to crack my tile. The lead installer was doing a good job but when the helper went to screw in the bottom side hinge he proceeded to force the screw in. Stripping the screw and cracking the tile behind the hinge. Picture is attached for reference. At this point I want nothing to do with this company and will be taking all my future business to Jim's Glass in Walla Walla, WA. I did send them an email a week ago to respond to my concerns and problems but they went unanswered. Maybe this was an off hand experience but did learn through asking around that when this was Yale glass it was a much better company and has lost its quality since then.
