The atmosphere is always very cozy and the menu is simply amazing. They offer a wide range of sandwiches, soups, drinks and desserts. Drinks include lattes, teas, coffees and smoothies. The menu is full of healthy options and choices offered for vegetarians. While they have their specialty sandwiches, you are also able to make your own! This is what I always do while I am there. My usual order is a panini with chicken, avocado, brie cheese, mustard, hummus, tomato and spinach. While the prices may seem just a bit high for some items, it is VERY worth it. For my sandwich, the amount of brie cheese they use alone would cost the amount of the sandwich. It is delicious and I am craving one as I type. There are quite a few restaurants in Ste Anne's I would recommend however this one is perfect for a snowy day inside or a refreshing summer day. I would go to TWIGS every day if I could.

Overall great sandwich place for a snack or lunch!

The ambiance is warm, the outdoor seating facing the water is equally beautiful in winter and summer (albeit for different reasons). The only difficulty I encountered was a lack of parking space. Although I was able to park on a side street it was a little tricky with the reduced available space due to snow/ice. Outside of that little point I had a nice relaxing morning coffee (Bulbasaur approves!) while taking in the views and listening to other customers have work meetings (ie; not loud, just discussing). I am glad it was early morning and thus not crowded. I will be back to try their specialty coffees or at least espressos :)

The other place which was recommended to me to try was the cafeteria inside John Abbott College (but I decided not to go there for no particular reason). Cafe Twigs is located at McGill University's Macdonald Campus (on the West Island in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue) in the Macdonald Stewart building. It is a small cafe which serves lunch/breakfast food along with the usual snacks. Lunch starts at 11:00am (breakfast offerings finish at that time). For lunch, I decided to get one of their sandwiches as opposed to one of their hot meal plates. Their sandwiches are named after people (I'm assuming named after the people who work at this place). The sandwiches are pre-made and when I ordered it, I was asked if I wanted it toasted to which I answered yes. The person placed it into one of these grill machines while I waited and looked at their board hanging on the wall. I saw that they had chili so I decided to order a large chili as well. The sandwich was made ready in a few minutes and I grabbed my chili and sandwich which were placed on the counter and headed to the cash to pay (and get my spoon and napkins). They accepted credit cards and their machine was one of the touch machines so went very smoothly. They didn't ask me if I wanted my bill and immediately threw it in the waste basket. I found the prices to be fair or slightly expensive for what I got. It wasn't what I would consider to be inexpensive nor was it what I would consider to be overly expensive. For my meal, it was a little less than $13.00 which didn't include a drink. As a basis of comparison, the large vegetable chili here was ~$5.00 and it is smaller than a Wendy's large chili and the Wendy's chili includes meat. There were a few seats which were empty so I had my lunch there. This place is like a university cafeteria so most of the customers are university students and the seats get taken up pretty fast at lunch time. The sandwich that I had was pretty good. It was called the "T.J" and the chili was also very good for a vegetable only chili (I normally prefer a meat chili).

The main cafeteria has a bad reputation and selection and this is the only other potion in the building.(both are run by Aramark) This location is extremely understaffed and overworked furthermore employees seem to lack basic training as they are unfamiliar with the standard menu times advertised. I can't tell you how many times I have received a ham and cheese sandwich as a wrap and not on the usual bread.

It's pretty big .. the drive threw is a little confusing but figuredd it out the entrance is hiding between the corner. The staff is very friendly and attentive got my order ready and everything i asked for in like 30seconds. Pretty happy and very impressed Can't rate the inside nor the ambiance as I don't like going inside for starbucks I find drive threw is super fast and I needed my quick caffeine fix haha. Overall, totally recommend this place if you need to fuel up on caffeine. The only problem is the price .. I decided to get the new butterscotch latte vente it was like 8$ eeEek I think prices are starting to surge too quickly .. soon I'll have to take out a mortgage to be able to enjoy a Starbucks coffee on a daily grr.. not fun! The employee patiently answered questions while giving small spoonfuls of different ice cream flavours to taste. Luckily we weren't too big of a group but we were enough to take over the four tables inside. It was a very cozy and comfortable place I look forward to returning to in order to try their coffees (as I'm a fan of affogato :) )

Coconut was refreshing and thirst-quenching without being overly sweet. The mango tea also wasn't too sweet but was very refreshing. The flavors didn't taste fake, and the owner told us all the flavors were made with real tea. Also, the boba balls were on the better side compared to others in the area. I've definitely had worse balls in my life but I've also definitely had better. Small colorful interior with just a few tables and some cute boba merch. The owner was very nice and gave us a free size upgrade because we were students!

Bought 2, one Apple Crumble Caramel Cheesecake which I preferred than the other. I wish it had more of the crumble though, at least it would have felt like I was eating something, this was just like a mouth full of nothing icing, sadly. Even the graham crust at the bottom wasn't a crust, it was loose powder which felt really weird to eat with all this soft texture. I normally really like soft cheesecake but this was just all over the place. The apple pieces inside was not enough to balance, very stingy. This isn't good by itself, if I were stuck with it again, I'd have it with fruit or ontop of a real cake or something lol The other was their fudge raspberry cheesecake, which was the preferred one by the rest of my family, but again, none of them were happy and told me to give up on this restaurant, sad as we use to be excited for this place years ago. Anyways! I didn't like this one because the fudge just stuck to my teeth and I had to fight it off my fork lol, was like a very sticky pudding. My dad said that it feels like they've done a lot of cost reduction and that I should just do homemade instead @,@ I found it incredibly overpriced. I paid around 75$ for both together. Not worth it, I don't recommend. I don't even think they care at this point because the market is good for giving people cheap tricks.
