Let's get started on the principle and vice principal first of all the principal only cares about the bad kids and glazes the heck out of them the vice principal over reacts for no reason actually both of them do. The teachers only really care when your failing most don't even know how to teach and it's honestly the reason why my grades and multiple other kids grades started dropping grading more F's then A's. This school doesn't do nothing about bullying that's why the kids don't care anymore. Overall this school sucks it's only fun because of making friends. You no longer enter the main doors when you come here for a sporting event located in the gym, they have you enter the side door and everything is contained to that one hallway and the gym itself. They have various clubs for students to engage in, the school is huge and Ms Rivera was very instrumental in making sure my child's transition to classes were smooth as well as promptly handling any issues related to academics. She was great and very professional ! My child is currently adjusting to the school well. I also love how there is a process dedicated to ensuring the safety of drivers and pedestrians but today was different. One of the security guys; not the elder looking one with the glasses but another one who usually directs the flow of traffic with him and is usually pleasant (look kind of like Steve Harvey, bald head) was not so pleasant today. Before today there are times when I payed attention to see that he has only been attentive to one side in regards to flow. Never said anything just used my driving skills. Today was a day I had to look both ways as I usually do then look ahead to see if I could go and because his attention was elsewhere. I saw that there was no traffic or students so I proceeded to go without his instruction and immediately I assume because I had shades on he thought that I wasn't paying attention. He was very rude and nasty and questioned my ability to see although I continued to be polite so after a while I disregarded EVERYTHING he said after because at this point you are arguing while children are trying to cross and drivers are leaving with their families. I took off my glasses to show you that I see you. He also went as far as to say that "if you have a problem my boss name is yadada Yadaaa ya". So I'm like ok. You are too comfortable giving me your boss name as if I'm not going to call and you're flat out yelling in the middle of you needing to focus on traffic. Immediately while driving home I gave a call to the head of security and he seemed to be receptive of my complaint. Hopefully before the security gets out of character next time he'll think twice and look both ways before he gets mad at a driver for exercising their discernment on whether to proceed against the road or not because I was in the right. At the end of the day no one was hurt or injured because the path was clear. You can't direct traffic and only pay attention to one side. Also as a person that deals with people on a day to day basis you should know how to bite your tongue get out of your personal feelings to ensure everyone is safe instead of arguing with me having students confused as to if they can cross or not because you are angry.

The staff here was very welcoming. The two ladies working the ticket table were a pleasant welcoming committee. The school was super clean and the bathrooms were well maintained. Not too much to report here as my visit was contained to the gym. You could tell this school is one of the older ones in the county because of the layout of the gym with the vintage scoreboards.

He enjoyed his kindergarten teacher this year and she was very attentive to his academic needs and behavior socially. She kept in touch with me when he was struggling in areas. Very secure with him going here. First time parenting is nerve wrecking and they all handle it well, especially the ladies in the front office, principle always called back within 3 hrs or less whenever I called in with a concern. If you're in this area, this is a very good school.
