The bid we received was astronomical compared to the size of the job. It was clear to my husband and I that he did not want the work. We later obtained 4 additional bids that all came in at about a third of what Zack quoted. We were also told by multiple landscaping companies that no company should charge you for an estimate. We asked for our money back and were told, "Impossible". We asked for half of it back and were told, "Impossible". We feel this is all a scam. This company pays a lot of money to keep their reputation clean online. I would not recommend using them unless you want to pay a lot more than another company would charge.

Not even two whole seconds after my colleague introduced himself the man who introduced himself as "Gus" hung up on us. Assuming that he thought we were telemarketers based off of us introducing our company first, we called back and were hung up on AGAIN. A third attempt sent us straight to voicemail. We then left a message that we were attempting to utilize their services for snow removal for a commercial site, but even if they DO call back we are NOT interested. So so so horribly unprofessional. Not sure what I was expecting from a business that is unclaimed AND has no reviews, but good lord some passable phone skills seem like the bare minimum at least!

Despite making five follow-up calls over the next two months, I still never received a bid or a return call. Unfortunately, this has been a disappointing experience and reflects poor customer service--if a company cannot even return a call, it's difficult to trust them with a project. I understand companies get busy, but a simple update or courtesy call would have gone a long way.

The sprinkler portion was high so I hired someone else to do that. They came to walk my property and talk about exactly what I wanted done. As they were looking at my yard they saw the sprinklers being installed. They agreed to do top soil, sod, and a substantial amount of rock (probably totaling over 4K still) and told me they would get me an updated quote. They told me they would be able to get to my yard in about 2 months. I never got the quote so I tried many times to call them and follow up with no reply. Finally I saw them landscaping my neighbors house two weeks ago and drove up to talk to them. They told me they had two more houses to do and would then get to mine. Several phone calls and a few weeks later still zero call back and no word. I decided to reach out to my builder to see if he could get me another number. He informed me "Tom said since you had someone else do your sprinklers they don't want to do your yard. You can get them to do it." So basically, they lied to me for months. Told me I was on their schedule. And didn't even have the decency to call me and tell me they were no longer going to landscape. What a joke. I would never use a company that is so dishonest or terrible at communicating. If you're looking to get your yard done I would highly suggest finding someone else that is trustworthy. Mystic is not that company.

He told me that he would need to come back & said promised he'd be back at end of week. Just before noon on 6/3 called them to see if their service man was coming back out as promised. Dawn who answered phone seemed to know nothing about there needing to be another service call. She then made an appointment for 6/9 for 12:00. At 3 I called wondering if I had made an error in date or time. She said that was strange for the service guy had clocked in at 12 at my place. I then informed her that I had not been anyplace awaiting his visit. Dawn kind of apologized, & then wanted to make another appointment on Friday the 10th since it was already the end of their work day. I was actually really uncomfortable with knowing that not only was there no notification they were not going to be here but that their service person apparently clocked in as having been at my place when he wasn't. I don't think this is quite the place one wants to use if they not only have issues with their communication, but their service people checking in when they weren't really there.
