This update to my original review of the law firm of J.D. Milliner is in response to J.D…read more Milliner's post of 9/2/2020. J.D. Milliner claims that my review of his law firm was largely based on information obtained from a rather unreliable source. I find this to be quite comical considering I based my review on my own personal interactions with the employees of his firm along with emails as well as invoices that were sent to me for payment of his firms work both when I was in fact a client of his firm as well as when his firm was retained to represent the client that his firm represented at the time this review was originally posted. These emails and invoices covered a time span of close to one year and came from the attorneys and employees of his own firm. I based my review of his law firm on what was supplied to me by his own employees as well as the personal interactions that occurred for close to one year with the employees and attorney's in his own office so I guess in essence J.D. Milliner is telling everyone who reads his reply to my original review of his law firm that his employees are the rather unreliable source that provided me with the information that I based my review on. J. D. Milliner states that the billing practices and procedures of his law firm are clearly set forth and that his firm provides detailed monthly statements each month to their clients. I also find this somewhat questionable considering in December of 2019 I personally disputed 2 invoices in a meeting with J. D. Milliner that were submitted to me as well as the client that was being represented by his firm due to unclear and questionable charges on the bills that were submitted by 2 of his attorney's that were working the client's case he refers to at that time. The result of the dispute was J.D. Milliner himself making the 1 particular bill in his own words "Go away" J.D. Milliner also states in his post that he must follow the instructions of his actual clients or withdraw from the representation of that client. This statement also comes into question due to the fact that the client he is referring to in this case submitted to him along with the attorney assigned to represent her as well as the paralegal employed by him a detailed letter that contained written and precise instructions of what the client wanted J.D. Milliner to do regarding their representation of her as their client. 6 days later the client in question received a letter from J.D. Milliner and assoc. informing her of their decision to withdraw from representing her as their client. In the letter that was sent to the client one of the reasons that was cited for withdrawal of representation was due to the bad review that I had posted here regarding his law firm. In summery it seems that the law firm of J.D. Milliner and associates retaliates against the clients they represent by withdrawing from representation of them when anyone associated with that client exercises their right to free speech and the right to review his law firm regardless if the review is good or bad. I stand by my original review of this business

This was a clear cut case and somehow she managed to lose it. She regularly lied about the billable hours and billed several hours of work done by her paralegal. I would strongly discourage anyone from using her as your representation.

I hired Cassie many years ago, in which she was outstanding. I recently sought her help with a divorce and custody case with her being quoted as saying to me, " I expected this to be a straight forward very easy case". She basically turned it over to her paralegal for a fast and easy case which would not demand any of her time or at least she thought. Turned out to be the opposite with a very nasty and aggressive assault from the partitioner's council. I received no help in defending this attack against my credibility, my character, enduring slandering untrue accusations which resulted in parental alienation from my children that I have now not seen in 2-1/2 years as a result. My personal property was illegally sold without my permission not to mention never receiving any proceeds for my belongings. Meanwhile allowing ongoing dishonesty, falsifications, manipulation from the partitioner and her council to continue with no rebuttal/defending me in anyway. Cassie never was involved, knew nothing about my case being overwhelmed in the circumstantial overload of cases she inherited. She had no time for my case. I had valid concerns about the division of my retirement that she was irritated with me over. I later learned after investigating it myself that she was wrong and It should have and COULD have been settled differently. I could go on but will sum it up by simply stating that I would not wish this unnecessary grief stricken heartache on anyone. I feel I should share my experience and hopefully save others from the nightmare

During a phone call, he was completely unprofessional and commenced to yell at me during the conversation. I am submitting their practice to the Utah state bar for potential prosecution in a hope he will be stripped of his license to practice law. I would never recommend their practice to anyone.

I was told the process, that would only take about 3-4 hrs of his time would take 3-6 weeks to be final. After not hearing back after 6 weeks I reach out to him and he hadn't even final the paperwork yet. After it was final and I was having issues with my Ex not complying, Mr. Lucherini was not longer able to help me. And due to the way he worded things, they benefited my Ex and not me.
