Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service

Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service

I cannot say enough good things about Naugle. My mother passed a year ago, and they made the entire…read moreprocess seamless and easy. We were treated with such compassion and patience. Although we had originally stated that we did not need to view my mother a final time (since we had been with her when she passed), when we arrived to start the arrangements, we felt an overwhelming need to see her. The team at Naugle accommodated us and allowed us to spend some time with her. We never felt rushed or as if we were too demanding. As Naugle has an on-site crematorium, we were able to view the cremation from a very comfortable and private room. It gave me comfort to know that my mother's dignity had been preserved from start to finish. Today I received a call from Karen at Naugle who simply called to see how I was handling the first anniversary of my mom's passing. We had such a nice conversation and she was so kind. That level of concern for the customer is something I have rarely experienced with any other business. It meant the world to me. As far as logistical details, pricing is very reasonable. They do not give you a hard sales pitch or try to upsell as you hear about other funeral homes doing. The facilities are beautiful and very warmly appointed. They made a very difficult time in my life much easier and I am forever grateful.

I have no words for this family. They go above and beyond to be there at one of the hardest times,…read morethe loss of a loved one. After losing my mother the end of May last year at only 51, I felt I had lost my best friend and my world just came to a halt. From the first phone call to them, I knew we had made the right decision. Thy walked us through every option for cremation, options, the memorial service, and had hugs and tissues each step of the way. I am eternally grateful to this family for their unending compassion, attention to detail, courteousness , and genuine amount of care they put forth. The job they do is not easy and somehow they manage to be there. Even after the service, we received phone calls, books on grieving, and even and embroidered throw blanket with my mothers name and birth/ passing date. There are not enough words to tell how great they are. Just know, there is definitely nobody else like them out there. Thank you again so much. Be well, and you are all always in my prayers. - Lauren

Their level of assistance and explanation was a great aid in managing us through the cremation process, etc. I highly recommend their King of Prussia team to anyone in need, or even considering, the cremation process, which is highly economical in this day and age!

Our family's experience with the Cremation Society of Pennsylvania has been extremely frustrating…read moreand disappointing during an already very difficult time. It has now been 16 days since our grandmother passed, and we still do not have her ashes. Throughout this process, communication has been inconsistent and unclear. Each time we contact the organization, we are given different explanations for the delay, including state paperwork issues and staffing shortages, but no one has been able to provide a clear timeline or proactive updates. In addition, our cousin specifically requested that our grandmother's fingerprints be taken as a keepsake, and we later learned that this request was never completed. Discovering this after the fact was extremely upsetting for our family. Today, our cousin was even told that she could not pick up our grandmother's ashes because "another family was coming in." Being turned away under those circumstances only added to our frustration and made us feel that our family's needs were not being treated with the care and urgency they deserve. We have repeatedly been told that our loved one is being handled with compassion and care, but unfortunately our family has experienced very little communication, accountability, or follow-through during this process. Families place an enormous amount of trust in funeral and cremation services during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives. We hope the Cremation Society of Pennsylvania will address these issues and improve how they communicate with and support grieving families. At this point, our family is simply asking for clear answers and the prompt return of our grandmother's remains so we can finally lay her to rest.
