The butcher immediately obliged and after a short wait, our order was filled. Everything we have bought at C Rallo Meat Market has been of the highest quality. Our normal place for processing deer had taken in too many deer during youth season so we gave them a try. We thought the price was a little high but ok we paid and left. Months go by and they said it wasn't done when I called and someone lost the voucher so they had it hanging because they didn't know who's it was. The owner was really nice jumped through hoops trying to make it right which was great. I called last week saying it was ready. My husband is finally in town due to the storms and was going to pick it up we are 20 mins out and they close in 20 mins which is fine but the guy is like " well if you make it that's fine but we close at 6 that's it" there was just a little rudeness about it. read more

This is by far the best butcher in the Ofallon area. If you are hooked on another butcher then do what I did. Buy a New York strip from your butcher and one from C Rollo, season and cook them the same and you will be a C Rollo customer for life. Hands down the best flavored beef in town. Great individual cuts of meat and specialty items, however do not buy the meat packages, you don't get what you're expecting. Ordered half a hog expecting cuts of meat, instead I paid almost $200 for 38 lbs of mostly deli ham, brats, and breakfast sausage. Immediately cancelled the forequarter of beef I ordered for fear of how much sliced roast beef and hamburger meat I would end up with. So don't buy bulk here. read more

I was very impressed! I love to visit mom and pop businesses and this one didn't let me down! From the minute I walked into the door people were eager to help me! Where do you find that? I have a senior dog that doesn't want to eat much, so I went in to buy us a steak, which they offered to season for us as well. I mentioned my dog to the gentleman helping me, and was thinking I wanted to get some chicken gizzards and liver. He showed me that they made their own raw natural dog food and gave me a sample! Great mom and pop meat market. This place is close to My Parent's house, I try and stop there every time I go that way. They have a generous selection of fresh cut and frozen meats. They also have a good selection of frozen pastas, prepared meals, even dog food. I usually end up getting a few pounds of their skirt steaks you can never go wrong with that. C Rallo easily beats any chain grocery store in quality and selection of meats. read more

I have gone here twice. Recently to buy a filet for my wife for Mothers Day. They cut the perfect filet. Offered to season it, which they did. My wife says it was the best filet she has ever had. I bought there #6 package of meat which has been fantastic. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. We will always buy our meat from here. read more

Good meat but watch what they advertise and what they charge. We ordered a sandwich and the price on the board was not what they wanted to charge us. They eventually gave it to us for the advertised price. They said prices went up. It's a chalkboard, change the price. We will go back but watch what we're being charged. The trust is broken. By some corprate pencil pusher. High quality meat products. I'd rather have QUALTY over QUANTITY. Rallo's has delivered every time. Deli product are made fresh. Desserts are made in house. Great quality and selection, flexible (slice this or that, pre order, package order options), friendly staff that knows a thing or two and very helpful. Cost wise, well, some is lower vs the grocery stores but better quality. Some the same price, but again better quality. I shop schnucks but their meat doesn't compare. read more

My wife and I moved to St Charles from St Louis county about 10 years ago. While searching the surroundings we drove past C Rollo Meat Mkt on Bryan Rd. Caught my eye in a heart beat. I like to cook and had a butcher in St Louis county that I often used. Finding a new meat market and butcher was a great find for me. I insist on making on making a prime rib ( standing rib roast) for Christmas. We do Turkey and Ham at T-giving. Seven years ago we walked into Rallo and ordered a roast. for the Christmas dinner. They prepared it as I requested without a problem. What else can I say. Well, seven years later and a customer forever. Ya that is a roast every year from Rallo since then.. It's great to have a meat market in the neighborhood. They have a great selection of meat as well as homemade side dishes. The only drawback is their prices are higher than say Jeremy's in O'Fallon for the same meat. They also break down the display prior to closing time so if you go in 30 minutes before they close you cant choose your meat because you cant see it. read more
