Overall: He has good prices, but lost my trust as he failed to show up and took advantage of my not being in the same city as the property I asked for lawn maintenance. I sincerely hope he will learn to do better even though he didn't do right by me. *First impression* As you can read from my first review, I was really impressed with my first experience with him. He asked for a review immediately for the other company name EZ Yards, but said he had some issue with Yelp account. He responded timely and did the job amazingly. I requested lawn maintenance (hedges and mow the lawn) every two months (he insisted on monthly - I obliged bc it's small business) on my parents' property in a different city than where I live. I needed a business I could trust that would do the job and do it well. My parents are getting older and Alain seemed to understand the importance of family. And I've been taken for a ride! *The long game* I was very impressed the second time he came when I wasn't in the city because this time before asking for payment he sent pictures. *Red flags I should've noticed* - He insisted monthly maintenance, but instead came when he could. - I would receive text messages saying he was going to the property thinking he would show up only for another one to come the next week saying he was definitely going. - He never sent pictures to prove the maintenance was done, but again I thought I could trust him. *Chances Upon Chances* One of his services said he could cut tree branches. So I asked if he could trim some branches. I sent him pictures of the tree I wanted cut. He said that if he hauled them away it would be extra so it would be cheaper to leave it for the city to pick up. I told him where the city would pick up and even sent him a picture. I came to check on the property to find the tree was poorly cut and the branches left in the wrong spot. I didn't mind the tree, but told him he placed the branches in the wrong area. He said he would show up that day to move them. Then, he said he would show up the next day. He never showed. Instead, I had to move the branches myself with my older mother in the rain to avoid a citation from the city. Despite this I wanted to give him another chance, he shared with me that he had something come up with his family. He wasn't specific, but I decided to give him another chance bc of how much I love and care for my family. *The Last Experience* End of April 2021/Beginning of May 2021: I asked if he could go to the property and cut the lawn and hedges (regular lawn maintenance) bc we got a citation from the city. He said he would get to our property but it's taking him time bc he landed a big contract. Regardless, he said he cut it and asked me for $60 I came to visit my parents for Mother's Day weekend just to find that the bushes were not cut and the edges where the grass meets cement or the house were over a foot tall. I sent him pictures and circled the areas. He didn't respond. I had to text him again asked for an explanation. His response exactly: "My. Weed whacked broke on the spot." I asked about the hedges and he never responded. I don't understand why ask for money when you didn't do the job bc your machine broke? Why not tell me? My only guess is bc he knew I dont live in the same city and can only visit when I can. He never apologized nor did he say I'll come back and do it. He never offered to refund my money. I thought that he wouldn't want to lose consistent business so I was hoping he would apologize but here we are in the middle of June and I haven't heard a thing. We live in a time where trust is easily broken. It's hard to find people and business to trust. I trusted this man. I truly did, and I feel nothing short but taken advantage of. *Why then am I giving him two stars instead of one?* Bc I know deep down he is a good man. I think if you live on the property and can see the job he does immediately; He won't take advantage of you. *Use my review as a notice of caution* I want his business to succeed and maybe it's growing at an exponential rate that he can't keep up. He would rather choose businesses that offer more money than a residential home that's essentially lowering hanging fruit. Perhaps, if you go into business with him you too might want a contract. I've learned my lesson. I hope he will do better. I wish him the best, and I will fight for my money refunded from the bank.

I was very specific that the roots needed to be out as well, since I was not there that day I asked how it was going and was told that all was complete, I asked once again if the roots were out and was told that they are absolutely out. I paid them in full and even gave extra tip. Once I came home I noticed that the roots are not out, I reached out and no answer, I reached out few more times and sent the video showing that the job wasn't completed with no answer. Sad part is that I would have given them more projects if only they stood behind what was promised.

My Search Started to come up with Bayamito & Sons. Michael the Owner came out to do the Assessment with a Coconut Removal Quote and a Whole Tree Removal Quote. Since the Coconuts were Straight Over our Roof and Falling we decided the Removal was right decision. They Guaranteed Full Stump Removal and since the Job was being done right before Bulk Trash we saved on "Tree Removable Take-Away". While in the Process of Removing the Coconut Palm we decided to take out a couple of Rotting Palms on Property as they were Slowly on a Disintegrating Process. The Guarantee was to have ALL Stumps Removed as we Explained we will be Re-Planting in the Removed Areas. The Coconut Tree was taken down, piece by piece.. The Palm were Removed.. BUT the Stumps still Remained in All Areas. After "Removal" it was a Huge Struggle to Replant as the Stumps were Clearly still there. Extra ExTRa Work to Fully Remove.. Also, while picking-up items around the Yard the BobCat Broke one of our Sprinkler Lines. Left for us to deal with the Aftermath.. Service for May 13, 2017 and May 14, 2017 -I had a Brazilian Pepper tree monstrosity in my yard…read more It took me awhile to part with it because of the shade it provided in my yard. I had a couple of landscapers give me quotes to cut it down and grind the stump, but they would not include hauling it away. Stan ,the owner of Parsons Tree and Landscaping gave me the best quote and included hauling it away before I even asked. He said he would come early in the morning and he came around 9:15 am on a Saturday. He did all the work himself and cleaned up after each step so my property didn't look littered for long. He takes such care to clean up - it is truly amazing. (I have hired another landscaper with a complete crew before and they left my yard littered with trash,) Stan is meticulous and considerate of your property. I had caution tape on areas that he absolutely could not mess up or hurt and he did well and worked around those areas to my specifications. He worked all day but, could not finish the job because he needed a smaller grinder, to grind the last little bit of the stump located next to the Palm tree that I absolutely wanted to save. He said he would return the next day. I paid him half of the quote. To save time the next day, he entrusted me with his ladders; which stayed on my property overnight. Sunday, May 14, 2017 Stan arrived mid-day with the smaller grinder and finished removing the Brazilian Pepper and cleaned up an Oak tree (dead wood etc). Again he cleaned up. I asked him about another Oak tree on the property and he put up his tallest ladder against it. When he climbed to the top of the ladder. He paused. He noticed there was a mother Bluejay and her babies in a nest. Stan looked down at me and smiled. He explained to me what he saw and asked me if I still wanted to cut the tree. "Of couse not", I replied and I knew he knew I was going to say no. He said, "Call me about it in three months."
