I ask questions through their website, via email, through the various auction sites they use and I rarely get a response - when I do, I typically make a purchase. They dropped the ball on my last question I had asked, as depending on what the answer was, it was going to be a six figure purchase - but because of no response, I passed.... There is something coming up to auction that will be several thousand $s - I know they have it, but can't get them to tell me when it is going to come up. A shame they treat their customer like this.

They cater mostly to their "old-time Vermonter friends" and make it clear that "outsiders" are a bit of a nuisance. Twice now I have taken time out of a crushingly busy schedule to go in the morning of an auction to leave a bid on a particular item, only to find, at the end of the day, that they "misplaced" my bid and sold it for either the same price or less to another bidder. Fool me twice...? Never again. There's plenty of good auctions nearby and in Montreal;, Westport Auctions, Kavanaugh's, and Nadeau's are among the ones that are professionally and courteously run that I've had a great experience doing business with.

They gave us information about each one of the items we were interested in and assisted us getting to know the lay of the land. One of the things I really appreciate about this auction is it's so close to Burlington and downtown Church Street. We had a great dinner then after the preview and went back to the auction. You always feel better when you win the mid and when we did we got great assistance breaking down a bed and I had it in the truck in about 20 minutes while the auction was still going. The whole process was easy and enjoyable. The free lunch while they gave the auction wasn't added. Plus pretty good pizza. A little soda coffee in the morning. Just enough to keep you going. The auctioneers kept it at a good cadence about one item a minute and you were never bored. An auction really is about the things you buy and we got what we wanted.. but it's also about the people. Friendly and knowledgeable helpful. All in all a very easy process.
