We sat under a tent lit with lanterns and lingered with a deconstructed cheesecake and coffee. The only reason that we didn't extend 5 stars was for the same reason the other reviewers mentioned, our server was a little condescending, maybe because we were not able to speak Spanish, but regardless, we were in fact in a tourist destination doing our best.

Location: it's right on the Platja de Migjorn, one of the beautiful beaches here on the island. I mean, all the beaches here are amazing. This one is usually not very packed though because there is a lot of posidonia (sorta like seaweed) around so people don't like to swim in it. It's completely harmless but you know how people are. That being said you can come down here and just chill on the beach if you want. If you get hungry or thirsty just head to Pelayo and grab some grub. Everything is super cheap. This is important because on the island most things are NOT cheap. At all. You can come in here and not feel like your on vacation with the prices. That's a nice touch. Oh and by the way, on Sundays they make the hugest pan of paella i've ever seen in my life! That's right, basically every Sunday they bust out a paella pan the size of Rhode Island and make paella. And basically everyone there on Sunday eats Paella for lunch and enjoys the views and such. I don't think they do reservations for this so you have to get there early to secure a spot, then watch as they make the mother (and father) of all paellas right before your very eyes! YUM! Get involved.

Beso has a little shop with nice things from Formentera and the only thing I would like is that you would be able to see the beach and the sunset from the restaurant (which you can't unfortunately cause the place is hidden in the bushes). To find Beso Beach, go to the south part of Illietes and look for a big "B" in the bushes or ask any taxi driver.
