He not only did his work thoroughly but also took the time to call me directly, which showed how much effort the entire team put into helping my son. The entire office staff was always kind and patient, even when I had what probably felt like tedious questions. Helen was especially helpful with the financial side, allowing me to put a portion down and then make payments, which no other lawyer's office was willing to do. It's sad to see when people leave bad reviews, because sometimes it's not that the lawyer didn't do their job it's that the outcome wasn't what they hoped for. Hiring an attorney doesn't guarantee that there will be no sentence. My son still did time, but it was nothing close to what the DA was pushing for. She added that she has to mail paperwork to Respondent for a wet signature and mentioned that it has to be notarized and then mailed back to her as electronic copies are not acceptable. 3. She ignored my call and several emails asking her about the paper work and many details after she was successful to get our contract during the initial call and never addressed me any more. She was hiding the covered idea from me and she knew what was going to happen exactly in the courtroom. She never conducted what she was hired for until this moment. She never sent me paperwork in a timely manner so why did we go through all of the above / wasting time and money!!! ??? 4. Self Help Desk Clerks told me that such Family Status Hearing will finalize the Divorce Decree Paperwork in the courthouse as this case is an Uncontested Case (Easy and already agreed upon and documented in the previous court documents) and was filed with the court by the Summons that was done before we hired this outfit. 5. Alicia made a decision to use the submitted Proof of Service that was done previously without them! Why did she ask us to prepare the Proof of Service that was on 04-01-2022 and intended not to submit it to the court after all !! ?? 6. We are demanding full refund otherwise we are going to dispute all of the money she charged through the credit card company and we have proof to document that Services were never delivered to Respondent in a timely manner and never was used by the court to start with. 7. I know that our case is very clear and Alicia is not eligible to charge us all of those charges and waste our time and energy as I spent a lot of time trying to contact her without any feedback. I'm very upset now thinking about my time and worries that she put me through. I should charge her money instead / and complain to the DA about her poor conduct and unprofessional behavior... 8. We had to keep waiting until after 18 Oct. 2022 in order for the Judge to sign the Final Divorce Decree instead of just looking at the Proof of Service that our daughter signed dated 01 April, 2022 and signed the Final submittal during the Court Hearing on 04 October, 2022. I would call them asking questions about each step of the process and they answered all my questions. Since I had no idea where my ex was living, I was able to inform him he could pick up the papers at the office which he did. I had called around and a lot of places were wanting to charge $1900. I couldn't afford that and luckily Paralegal Assistance Unlimited was a fraction of that cost. I pray I never have the need for legal services again but if I do, I would definitely give them a call.
