It's a small casual restaurant and you'll be seated side by side with other customers with the small tables pushed next to each other. Because of this, it gets very loud. They were sold out of the pork chops so we opted for their popular spare ribs and the sea bass. They both were grilled and tasted good. The entrees were pretty big portions so they were filling. We both couldn't finish our dishes. The spare ribs comes with of your choosing, either beans or french fries. The french fries were perfect, crispy and not oily. The sea bass was a whole medium-sized fish with bones in and lightly breaded. It came with boiled potatoes and salad. Salad was large pieces of romaine lettuce, shredded carrots, tomato slices, sliced onion. They served the salad with bottles of extra virgin olive oil and white vinegar to use as a salad dressing. We ended the meal with creme brulee. It was more liquidy compared to the typical creme brulee found in the U.S. The top center was way too charred and it wasn't as caramelized as it should be, otherwise, the flavor was decent. We also had a glass of their green white house wines, which was okay. My partner enjoyed it. They have free Wi-Fi and it was convenient that they framed the password on the wall. There are also little black chair hooks on the wall for you to hang your jackets and purses. The small bathroom is for both men and women and has toilets for both genders. For the life of me I could not figure out how to lock the bathroom door, but maybe you'll have better luck. And heads up, as part of the Portugal culture, be prepared to spend about 2 hours for your meal. CASH ONLY!

The bread and olive service was provided however isn't complimentary (as a note). The steak came out in a weird gravy sauce that has a Sunnyside egg on top. The octopus was very tender and fresh. That was my favorite bite. THE FINAL BAMBOO: It was around 36 euros for the two dishes, which isn't a bad deal! I'd definitely try some other dishes next time around.

We ordered the tuna steak, grilled corvina (croaker), grilled salmon, and traditional fried veal with garlic. The grilled fish were some of the best we've had in Spain and Portugal. It was so fresh, perfectly cooked and flaky, large and thick cuts, and the flavors shone through with olive oil, garlic, and salt. I really enjoyed the tuna steak because it was thick and flavorful, but some of my family thought it was a little tougher compared to the lighter fish we had. The veal was a little overcooked (expected honestly with this style of cooking) but the taste and sauce were delicious. Also it was only 9€ for an entire liter of their house vinho verde, which was a steal. No AC, but really cute decor. They do take credit card, and we were able to communicate easily with only English and pointing at the menu. Staff was kind and patient even though it was busy. I wish I found this place sooner because every dish that came out of the kitchen looked delicious. As for our steaks, my Tbone had nice flavour and was juicy. The only critique would be the cooking consistency of the steak. There some parts medium rare and other parts well done. The steak was served with fries. You can add additional side of rice or salad for additional cost. The steak with Portuguese sauce was served with egg on top and gravy. The steak was well done instead of medium rare which we would prefer. The fries were served on the side so they won't get soggy from the gravy. Next time we will try the cod fish which comes fried, grilled or boiled. I saw alot of patrons ordering the fried sausage and the cow steak with chips, rice and egg. I recommend coming here early and prepare to wait if you are larger party. The prices are really reasonable and the portions were generous. The beers here were ice cold and smooth. The desserts are good too and we will try this place again before we leave Lisbon.
