This was our second whale watching tour we've taken with Cabo Sailing. If I could give a rating above five stars, I would. Instructions and communication prior to the excursion were clear. They were promptly on time. We were spoiled every minute of the three hour trip. Our hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. We will do this again, and only with Cabo Sailing.

Everything about Cabo Sailing is convenient and fun. The pricing is fair, the crew was extremely friendly, and we felt very safe on the cruise. We booked a 42' private yacht sail for four of us. The online booking process had a discount code hiccup, so I had to call to reserve. The agent on the phone was very helpful and within seconds I had confirmation emails in my inbox. The crew met us at the dock gate and made the entire night super easy. They rolled out a lily pad so we could swim for a bit, served cold drinks for 3 hours, and put out a delicious spread of snacks. The boat was very comfortable and the views were outstanding. I can't wait to go back and cruise with these guys again. It was a highlight of the trip.

Daniel our super driver picked us up in San Jose; such a courteous and a great conversationalist. Our crew Captain David and Osvaldo were super; spoke good English and the drinks and antojitos were excellent. This is the fourth time we used Cabo Sailing and they never disappoint!! Thank you'

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! What a fun time! My husband booked a 4 hour private yacht for the 6 of us and it was definitely the highlight of our trip! Our captain (I think his name was Alejandro?) and first mate were wonderful! All we could possibly drink, beers, margaritas etc...They took us snorkeling over at a beautiful bay, then fed us a fantastic spread of food from sushi, to a huge charcuterie board of many yummy options, including fruits... then they took us over by the arch's where we watched the sunset and took lots of pictures! Was a fantastic time!! Highly recommend! Worth the cost!

We booked a 42' for 3 hours through Viator. The service was great from our clean cut and well dressed crew was perfect! There were no hidden fees and everything was very professional. We got to watch whales about 30-40 yards off the boat on our way to Chileno Bay (Bahía Chileno). Chileno Bay is along the Tourist Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo about 40 minutes or so from the marina in Cabo. We had calm waters, girls did a little snorkeling, and overall some great family-friendly vibes. We did a little swimming in Chileno and laid out on the Lilly pad for 30-45 mins. The crew also took us out to lands end and we were able to snatch some great pics of the famous arch. My only complaint is it our deal was to be 3 hours and we got back about 15-20 mins early. I asked the crew if we were only ones going that day on our 42' yacht and they said yes so not sure what the rush to get back was. Oh well... overall would recommend! TIP: check pricing at your hotel/resort you are staying at. It would have been about 15-20% less for us had we booked directly through our resort versus viator.

When in Cabo you must take a sailing adventure and Cabo Sailing is the best ! We went with 2 other families and had the best time. The bar was open the minute we sailed and we headed to see the seals and snorkel. What fun! After that we were served a delicious lunch ! We headed to the open water and saw whales . It was such a fun day and our crew was just the best . We will be back!!!

I wish I could have given this experience five stars but after receiving wrong directions, a wilder boat ride than we were expecting and some inappropriate comments, I had to deduct a few stars. Directions: The email directions to the boat dock we received assumed we were coming from a resort in Cabo San Lucas. Since we were staying in San Jose Del Cabo, our transportation dropped us off near the restaurant mentioned in the email but the directions were oriented for the opposite direction. We ended up walking all the way around the dock, in the wrong direction and were aggressively solicited at every single establishment we passed. The wild boat ride: Due to the choppy water, on several occasions the boat tipped onto what seemed to be a 90 degree angle. At one point, one of the people in our party almost slid off the boat! Some passengers mentioned that the water was unusually choppy but this was ridiculously unsafe and the ride should have been cancelled. Inappropriate comment: Because there was limited space on the boat, my husband and I were separated for about 85% of the ride, which was unfortunate since we had hoped to experience it together. I ended up sitting at the back of the boat with a few other passengers, the captain and other people working on the boat. At one point while I was toward the back of the boat, one of the people working on the boat told me that another worker on the boat wanted a massage - as if I was suppose to give him one. I stared in silence and ignored the workers for the rest of the trip. This comment was absolutely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable on the boat for the rest of the ride. I did get some good pictures on the boat and of the scenery when I was still with my husband, so that was worth a few stars. But I won't be taking any rides with this company in the future.

David, Jesus, and Eduardo were so friendly and so accommodating. They provided a relaxed atmosphere and great food. We even saw a humpback whale close up. Would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Cabo!

    The beach

Went to Cabo with the family for a much needed and well-deserved vacation. One of the things we definitely wanted to do was take a boat ride out to the "Arch" and "Lovers/Divorce" beach -- we had heard so much about them. After going through many reviews and getting pressured from other companies in Cabo (everyone has a deal "just for you"), I decided to go with Cabo Sailing. I liked the presentation of what they had to offer. (The fact that they were offering a discount didn't hurt either!) I'm so glad we did! Booking the trip was quick and super easy. I got an email after paying, telling us where to meet the crew. They met us on time and were very friendly. It was my family of 3 and a couple on their honeymoon, so it made for a more intimate trip. Our captain was Mario, and his first mate was Joel. They were both awesome! We got brief instructions on what to and not to do, and we were off. We had a wonderful 2-hour sunset cruise where we were taken to the arch, along with the other rock formations and the beaches. Joel kept the drinks and snacks coming with a great sense of humor as we toured the area. Joel also shared his vast knowledge on the area providing the history along with some intersting stories. Coming back, the sunset was beautiful, and Joel took pictures of us with the sun setting behind -- using our camera! No extra/up charge for photos! Can not recommend Cabo Sailing enough. Trust me, picking a cruise provider can be really overwhelming in Cabo. Save yourself some time and frustration and roll with Cabo Sailing!! Note - The cruise we took did not offer time to get off at the beach and explore, but I am willing to bet Cabo Sailing offers it -- just ask! We will be doing it next time for sure.

This was the absolute highlight of our trip!! We had an amazing 3 hour boat tour, with food and music. The guys are absolute professionals and true gentleman. We highly highly recommend them!! Clemente, Jesus, Ali and JJ...thank you for the best boat day!!

A super adventure for us. The night was perfect. The staff was friendly and the appetizer tray was good. The music was a HUGE bonus. Nice variety and no modern country. A very relaxing trip. The only complaint were the two redneck couples on the boat. One of the women wanted to make sure that everyone knew she knew the word F&*$. Very immature and spoiled. We purposely got as far away from them as we could and we were soooo glad we did.

    Armida S.

Amazing adventure and experience. Highly recommend it. Our Captain Adrian and his mate Jorge made sure we fully enjoyed every moment.

We loved this excursion. I strongly recommend it on your next visit to San Jose Del Cabo or either Cabo San Lucas. This allowed us a romantic evening with other couples to relax, enjoy dinner, and experience the nautical offerings of Cabo more intimately and up close. You will not be disappointed. You will have to arrange this either with your travel agent or Concierge at your hotel/resort to the best manner of transportation to and from the location. The Dolphin Center in Cabo seems to be where all boats/yachts leave from.

I contacted them to cancel multiple times more than 24 hours in advance of our scheduled tour, but they refused to refund our money. Their refund policy states that I should get back 80%, but it's been months and I haven't received anything. They probably would have had to cancel the tour because of the weather anyway. Don't use this company!

Knowing it's a 20 minute walk from the place where the cruise ship tender drops you off to the place where the tour boats dock, we decided to scout it out the night before. The email from the company instructed us to check in at the Roger's office ("kiosko 2") to ensure we got the correctly-fitting snorkeling gear, so we went looking for the office using a map from the Roger's website and Google maps. We tried inputting the exact address from the email and asking everyone we could find at Puerto Paraiso mall, but when we went to the alleged office location, nothing was there. As a last ditch effort, on the way out of the mall, we paused and asked a random guy at a booth with ads for tours (mind you, nowhere did it say Roger's on it)! This booth was NOT located in the same spot indicated in the map on the Roger's website. However, this guy was somehow able to look up our reservation, and it was legit because he knew my name even though I never said it. He told us to just meet at the dock the next day - not to even worry about going to the "office" (wherever it may be). So that's what I would advise any future travelers to do - just go to Dock D, which isn't hard to find. Ahead of time, I had emailed the company and asked if I could add additional people to our tour and how to pay for them. I received a response indicating we would need to pay 35 per person and they could either send me a PayPal account to put the money in, or we could pay at the dock. When we got on the boat, we inquired about the two extra people and were told to pay 40 dollars. Thankfully I had the email from the company and I disputed this. I was given a roundabout explanation about how the corporate office is somewhere else in Mexico and sometimes there's miscommunication. This felt like an attempt to con more money out of us, but to their credit, they did honor the emailed price. The tour itself was great. We had Jonathan as the guide and Memo as the boat driver. Jonathan had great English skills and was knowledgeable. Our kids got to drive the boat, which had them laughing hysterically. They also dropped a couple members of our party off to snorkel in a designated spot, and the snorkel gear they provided seemed nicer than the cheap stuff we brought. At the end, they offered to drop us off closer to the cruise ship to help us avoid the 20-minute walk, but said it would be a $2 dock fee per person. We did take them up on that, as we had small kids in the party and didn't want them to have to do the walk in the hot sun. They do take pictures during the tour and offer you the chance to buy them at the end. Technically this is mentioned on the website, so it's not surprising. However, I will note that they offered us a discount on the photos at the end if we left them a review - lowering the price from 80 to 50 dollars. So, take that into account when you read other reviews. We declined. I recall when I was researching tour options that some other customers had mentioned their tours being outsourced to other people. There is definitely something odd with the "company." It presents itself on its website like a small business and frequent references are made to "our boat." But when you get to the dock, nothing says "Roger's" - no signage, no uniforms, etc. There's also more than one boat - another party was checking in at the exact same time as we were with the same people. It's almost like they've been bought out by a bigger conglomerate of tour operators. Perhaps this explains the conflicting information in some spots (i.e., the email confirmation saying to check in early at an office but a guy at a random kiosk that doesn't say Roger's on it somehow having our reservation and telling us to just go to the dock). Overall, we enjoyed the tour itself, but the issues with finding the location and being asked to pay different fees than we were quoted were off-putting.

They helped orient us to the e-bikes and helped us when we were having trouble staying steady on the bikes, especially on the loose sand. We also did a second tour the next day with the camel experience. It was very nice. We got to take pics with the camels and take a ride on them to the beach. After both excursions we had a Mexican lunch that consisted of mole chicken, ribs, rice, beans, salad, veggies, watermelon, fries, fried chicken tenders, cheese tortillas, beer, margaritas, tamarind water and hibiscus tea. At the end of the e-bikes we had a brief tequila making session at the end with tastings of tequila. After the camel experience we got a tutorial on how to make a corn tortilla like they did back in the day and tequila tastings. We got a chance to buy pics but it was super expensive. The first day we paid $60 to get pics and a video of the excursion. Today we paid more than 3 times that amount for pictures and video after the camel excursion. I asked why and they said it was a different event so the prices differed. If pics were not expensive as they were, I'd say this was a top tier event. The tour guides, food, drinks and experience were awesome!

The company Cabo Adventures is a total scam and preys on vulnerable families. I will NEVER use them again for any other activity despite us coming to Cabo every year. I encourage every one from Yelp not to use them as well. Each ticket cost over $200 per person to be part of a group dolphin experience. This is not even private. A child MUST be accompanied by an adult so that forces more people to join. You think after spending over $800 for 4 people they would treat us like royalty right? WRONG. They do not mention any photo pricing online because they don't want to scare you away before you purchase your tickets. But let me tell you, it's an all or nothing photo package (you cannot pick a few or buy per picture) and it was over $500!!!!!! The b*tch working at the photo center must get off on making kids cry because when you call her out on the ridiculous prices, she shuts off the computer, takes her booklet, and says "ok good bye, there's the door". They do not negotiate at all because they know you have no other option. It's truly heartless. How insulting after we just spent $800 just on the tickets for a 30 min SHARED experience. They allow observers who are not doing the dolphin experience but they conveniently put them far away from where the dolphins are so it's impossible for them to take any pictures or video. Note: females you are NOT allowed to have anything in your hair such as hair ties or clips which there is no mention online or even when you check in. They don't give a reason why and it really sucked because the day we went it was super windy and our hair went everywhere ruining a lot of the photos plus making it hard to see in the water with hair in your face. My poor daughter had to take out her cute braids :/ Many other great and reasonable experiences. Go elsewhere and do NOT support Cabo adventures. Shame on you guys. UPDATE: I'd like to respond to the manager Lorena who tries to justify these ridiculous prices instead of listening to her customers' feedbacks and making adjustments. No, it's not optional to get the photos because what's the point of doing this experience if you do not have pictures to keep as memories? Yes, I understand there's safety regulations about not having cameras with us in the pool but forcing bystanders not in the pool to be over 100 ft away to take pictures which will be blurring, you leave us no choice but to purchase the photos. Nobody is asking for free photos but charging $500 is a scam. Even Disneyland only charges $80 for unlimited photos for a whole week! And respect gets respect. After spending over $800, YOUR employee is the one who was disrespectful to me first with her attitude about the price and not even trying to talk to your supervisor or work something out with me. Clearly, you only care about profit, not about customers leaving happy or having a good experience.

Hence I would have given 4 stars because of this. I was expecting a much better informative tour with the marine biologist. However, in general, she didn't cut short our time and they did speed a long to various areas whenever we saw a spout of water blow up. And, in general, had a great time seeing e humpback whales- we saw one full breach too. I think we may have seen about 20 in January 2026. I heard Cabo is the best place to see the humpback whales and from December through March. I would reccomend the blow up boats as you can get much closer. We were in a small boat with about 8 people but I saw videos of people in the blow up boats that could actually touch the whales if they wanted to. Would have liked this better I think. Also, we forgot our water bottle in the boat afterwards and the company was very customer service oriented in helping us restrict the water bottle. The tour was good, we didn't even need to take photos because Victoria had a giant camera to do it for us. This way, we can really enjoy the natural settings of the Whale habitat. Towards the end of our tour, we were able to see 8 whales swimming together. Victoria said there are 7 are males chasing 1 female to see who would end up 'dating' her, aka - put a baby in her. Mating season was in the air and we got to see that. Best excursion ever! Private small tour. I'm happy to say, they followed sealife protocol and didn't get too close to harm the whales and there were only a few boats out for whale watching. It didn't feel commercial.

My husband and I met amazing people onboard, and the customer service was exceptional, from the warm welcome at the meeting point to the attentive boat staff who assisted us throughout the trip. The crew went above and beyond, ensuring safety, comfort, and nonstop music (their playlist is AWESOME). They even helped me navigate the boat when it was slippery and rinsed us off after swimming in the ocean. Drinks were constantly offered and the tequila shots kept coming! It truly felt like we had our own personal bartender and photographer. The captain made the experience even more memorable by stopping whenever we spotted marine life. We were lucky enough to see two turtles, a pufferfish, five seals, and some fishes. This excursion was worth every single penny and more. Do yourself a favor and book with them, you won't regret it. And please don't forget to tip the crew.. they absolutely deserve it!

They got everyone involved in dancing and celebrating on top of making sure everyone's drinks were filled and everyone got snacks. They came around very often checking on us all. The views of the arch and surrounding coastline at sunset was magical! Sitting over the water on the net was such a fun experience for my group! We had an amazing time and will for sure book again the next time we visit!

This is our second time using cactus tours, and we loved it!…read more We did the can am, side by side private tour with 3 of us in a 4 seater, and 2 in a 2 seater. With the private tour, you can take your phones and all your own pictures so that's a plus, also it's just your small group so you are stuck driving with strangers. We had our 5 year old son with us and our 21 year old daughter and they both had a blast! It gets extremely dusty so I highly recommend bringing bandanas to cover your nose and mouth. They do offer them for sale there but expensive. Our tour guy was great yohani or Joe. Don't waste the time on the tequila tasting afterwards, time wasted and they are just trying to sell you tequila. After the tasting they will try to coral you to view and purchase the pictures they took also. The pictures are really cool but I don't think worth the money especially if you paid for a private tour and took your own video and photos already! We drove to the tour location so I'm not sure how the pickup transportation service is so can't comment on that. We loved the experience both times we have done it and would love to do it again!

When the bus finally arrived, there were several other passengers already aboard the bus. We assumed that our tour was semi-private. We obviously were the last stop so we had to squeeze into these small seats for a 30-45 minute ride to the location. When we arrived at check-in, we quickly realized that this was like a scam. There were hidden fees that we were unaware of... We paid $108 per person online for two events, only to be told that each person in our party had to pay an additional $25. Since we were already there, we paid it. They tried to sell us a private guide and up charge for so many things such as insurance on their vehicle. One person had to present a major credit card and they stated $750 would be held on their vehicle card for 7-10 business days. They use these scare tactics to try to coerce you into purchasing their insurance. Had we not been apart of a large group, I would have cancelled them because they are very unethical. We signed up for the ATV's and skybikes. Not even 10 minutes into the ATV ride, they stop to take pictures of the group with the ocean in the background. We declined taking pictures as we did not come to take pictures, we came to have a good time and their solo focus was on how they could squeeze more money out of us. The ATV ride was average at best.. just a lot of dust. The skybike attraction was everything. It was fun and we really enjoyed that. At the end of the tour there is a tequila tasting which was okay. Then they send you to the photo center to view your pics and the prices are astronomical. I cannot recommend this company to anyone in good faith!

The chef prepared the most amazing meal we've ever had in Cabo, and the bartender's piña coladas were hands-down the best. The Magic Miguels put on an incredible show--so much more than just a quick performance. They're truly talented entertainers, and it was a highlight of the trip! Dani was a fantastic pole dance instructor, and the boat crew made the entire experience so much fun. I felt like we were on the best and liveliest boat on the water compared to the others. To top it off, we got to see playful whales in the water--an added bonus to an already incredible day! This was by far the best trip ever, and we're so grateful to Cabo Party Fun for making it happen. If you're planning a trip to Cabo, book them! You won't regret it!

They offer many types of bach services, and I ended up booking a sunset yacht cruise. About an hour into the ride, the whales started playing and singing, and it was such a beautiful surprise for the group! Despite a few of us being hungover and seasick, Diego and his crew were so much and knew how to keep the party going! Our driver Bradley was patient with us and kept us safe. Rachel was always just one call/text away if we needed anything. Lastly, Suzanne has been fantastic! Always there to help through all my endless questions. THANK YOU!

What that means is that you must ask strangers to slide over so you can sit. If you are a family of five, it means to sit, you may have some members on the top floor others at random tables. They oversell the ship especially around whale watching season. Avoid this tourist trap!!! Do not believe the tour operators at your resorts. The boat is okay and the food smelled good, but you will be standing for two hours or seating cramped with close to 200 strangers with only about 150 seats, half of which are benches with no backs. If the operators weren't so money hungry and full of spiteful greed, the tour might have been nice. Say they sold the ship to the true seated capacity. The horrible captain made an announcement asking people to scoot over. Families with kids or the elderly (the majority of families) were not interested in moving. This was such a FUN and delicious food tour in Cabo San Lucas!…read more We loved Miguel, our guide. He was entertaining and educational, and kept us moving at a decent pace. He was clearly passionate about Cabo San Lucas, about the history, the restaurants he introduced us to, and the food. There were 11 of us total on the tour, which was a good number. The tour lasted almost three hours total: 2-2.5 hours of the food tour and a little over 30 minutes of the tequila tasting. We made about 6 (7?) total stops, all of which were close to one another so there is walking but honestly not a lot of walking. Still: wear comfortable shoes, as there is some standing. We ate lots of different types of tacos, chilaquiles, burritos, ceviche, ice cream and churros. Come hungry! I loved almost every single thing we ate, and also really loved learning more about the history behind the dishes, how locals eat them vs. how we've Americanized some dishes in the US, and just hanging out in the more local part of town. At the end, there was an optional tequila tasting, which most of us did. I definitely recommend Juan More Tacos for food tours. They have great guides and you get to stop at restaurants that the locals dine in -- not the touristy hot spots. And it's priced well -- such a great value for the amazing experience!

Our tour guide was Juan, who was both professional and super kind & friendly as he led us through the walking tour. We learned about some of the history of Cabo San Lucas and why there is a diversity of food from different regions of Mexico in this tourist-focused town. Most of the shops that we stopped by were in the less-touristy side, away from the Marina, so it was definitely helpful to have Juan's recommendations and local knowledge. Over the course of the tour, we tried: 1) Chips & salsa, followed by sopes with chicken / beef / chorizo options, at Mercabo Gourmet Street Food (the starting & ending point of the food tour) 2) Taco de rajas con queso y crema (creamy roasted peppers) and cabeza (beef head), plus horchata and super-refreshing agua de jamaica (hibiscus tea), at Los Taco May. We were able to pick any taco from the menu that we wanted to try. 3) Birria taco on freshly-handmade tortillas at Taqueria Morelos 4) Stewed marlin and fried sea bass tacos, plus more hibiscus tea and horchata, at Los Claros. We also had several different options here for which taco we wanted to try. 5) Strawberry and soursop sorbet at La Michoacana - this place had so many different flavors of dairy ice creams, non-dairy sorbets, and popsicles. I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted; Juan recommended the strawberry and soursop sorbets, both of which were so refreshing and delicious in the warm November weather and after all of the savory foods that we'd had. 6) Al pastor and shrimp tacos at El Paisa (the most tourist-y spot that we went to; still good though) 7) Churros with chocolate and condensed milk, back at Mercabo Gourmet Street Food - so yummy! 8) Tequila tasting to end the tour, with no obligation to buy (we sampled a few that sounded interesting but did not buy any) Overall I'd highly recommend doing this tour if you have ~3 hours to spare on your trip to Cabo. Come hungry - I was stuffed full by the end of the tacos portion (but of course still had room for the desserts). Shoutout to our amazing tour guide Juan!
