This was our second whale watching tour we've taken with Cabo Sailing. If I could give a rating above five stars, I would. Instructions and communication prior to the excursion were clear. They were promptly on time. We were spoiled every minute of the three hour trip. Our hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. We will do this again, and only with Cabo Sailing.
Everything about Cabo Sailing is convenient and fun. The pricing is fair, the crew was extremely friendly, and we felt very safe on the cruise. We booked a 42' private yacht sail for four of us. The online booking process had a discount code hiccup, so I had to call to reserve. The agent on the phone was very helpful and within seconds I had confirmation emails in my inbox. The crew met us at the dock gate and made the entire night super easy. They rolled out a lily pad so we could swim for a bit, served cold drinks for 3 hours, and put out a delicious spread of snacks. The boat was very comfortable and the views were outstanding. I can't wait to go back and cruise with these guys again. It was a highlight of the trip.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! What a fun time! My husband booked a 4 hour private yacht for the 6 of us and it was definitely the highlight of our trip! Our captain (I think his name was Alejandro?) and first mate were wonderful! All we could possibly drink, beers, margaritas etc...They took us snorkeling over at a beautiful bay, then fed us a fantastic spread of food from sushi, to a huge charcuterie board of many yummy options, including fruits... then they took us over by the arch's where we watched the sunset and took lots of pictures! Was a fantastic time!! Highly recommend! Worth the cost!
We booked a 42' for 3 hours through Viator. The service was great from our clean cut and well dressed crew was perfect! There were no hidden fees and everything was very professional. We got to watch whales about 30-40 yards off the boat on our way to Chileno Bay (Bahía Chileno). Chileno Bay is along the Tourist Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo about 40 minutes or so from the marina in Cabo. We had calm waters, girls did a little snorkeling, and overall some great family-friendly vibes. We did a little swimming in Chileno and laid out on the Lilly pad for 30-45 mins. The crew also took us out to lands end and we were able to snatch some great pics of the famous arch. My only complaint is it our deal was to be 3 hours and we got back about 15-20 mins early. I asked the crew if we were only ones going that day on our 42' yacht and they said yes so not sure what the rush to get back was. Oh well... overall would recommend! TIP: check pricing at your hotel/resort you are staying at. It would have been about 15-20% less for us had we booked directly through our resort versus viator.
When in Cabo you must take a sailing adventure and Cabo Sailing is the best ! We went with 2 other families and had the best time. The bar was open the minute we sailed and we headed to see the seals and snorkel. What fun! After that we were served a delicious lunch ! We headed to the open water and saw whales . It was such a fun day and our crew was just the best . We will be back!!!
I wish I could have given this experience five stars but after receiving wrong directions, a wilder boat ride than we were expecting and some inappropriate comments, I had to deduct a few stars. Directions: The email directions to the boat dock we received assumed we were coming from a resort in Cabo San Lucas. Since we were staying in San Jose Del Cabo, our transportation dropped us off near the restaurant mentioned in the email but the directions were oriented for the opposite direction. We ended up walking all the way around the dock, in the wrong direction and were aggressively solicited at every single establishment we passed. The wild boat ride: Due to the choppy water, on several occasions the boat tipped onto what seemed to be a 90 degree angle. At one point, one of the people in our party almost slid off the boat! Some passengers mentioned that the water was unusually choppy but this was ridiculously unsafe and the ride should have been cancelled. Inappropriate comment: Because there was limited space on the boat, my husband and I were separated for about 85% of the ride, which was unfortunate since we had hoped to experience it together. I ended up sitting at the back of the boat with a few other passengers, the captain and other people working on the boat. At one point while I was toward the back of the boat, one of the people working on the boat told me that another worker on the boat wanted a massage - as if I was suppose to give him one. I stared in silence and ignored the workers for the rest of the trip. This comment was absolutely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable on the boat for the rest of the ride. I did get some good pictures on the boat and of the scenery when I was still with my husband, so that was worth a few stars. But I won't be taking any rides with this company in the future.
David, Jesus, and Eduardo were so friendly and so accommodating. They provided a relaxed atmosphere and great food. We even saw a humpback whale close up. Would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Cabo!
Went to Cabo with the family for a much needed and well-deserved vacation. One of the things we definitely wanted to do was take a boat ride out to the "Arch" and "Lovers/Divorce" beach -- we had heard so much about them. After going through many reviews and getting pressured from other companies in Cabo (everyone has a deal "just for you"), I decided to go with Cabo Sailing. I liked the presentation of what they had to offer. (The fact that they were offering a discount didn't hurt either!) I'm so glad we did! Booking the trip was quick and super easy. I got an email after paying, telling us where to meet the crew. They met us on time and were very friendly. It was my family of 3 and a couple on their honeymoon, so it made for a more intimate trip. Our captain was Mario, and his first mate was Joel. They were both awesome! We got brief instructions on what to and not to do, and we were off. We had a wonderful 2-hour sunset cruise where we were taken to the arch, along with the other rock formations and the beaches. Joel kept the drinks and snacks coming with a great sense of humor as we toured the area. Joel also shared his vast knowledge on the area providing the history along with some intersting stories. Coming back, the sunset was beautiful, and Joel took pictures of us with the sun setting behind -- using our camera! No extra/up charge for photos! Can not recommend Cabo Sailing enough. Trust me, picking a cruise provider can be really overwhelming in Cabo. Save yourself some time and frustration and roll with Cabo Sailing!! Note - The cruise we took did not offer time to get off at the beach and explore, but I am willing to bet Cabo Sailing offers it -- just ask! We will be doing it next time for sure.

A super adventure for us. The night was perfect. The staff was friendly and the appetizer tray was good. The music was a HUGE bonus. Nice variety and no modern country. A very relaxing trip. The only complaint were the two redneck couples on the boat. One of the women wanted to make sure that everyone knew she knew the word F&*$. Very immature and spoiled. We purposely got as far away from them as we could and we were soooo glad we did.
Amazing adventure and experience. Highly recommend it. Our Captain Adrian and his mate Jorge made sure we fully enjoyed every moment.
We loved this excursion. I strongly recommend it on your next visit to San Jose Del Cabo or either Cabo San Lucas. This allowed us a romantic evening with other couples to relax, enjoy dinner, and experience the nautical offerings of Cabo more intimately and up close. You will not be disappointed. You will have to arrange this either with your travel agent or Concierge at your hotel/resort to the best manner of transportation to and from the location. The Dolphin Center in Cabo seems to be where all boats/yachts leave from.
We just completed our second adventure with Cabo Sailing and it was as perfect as our first trip. We got great communications in advance, met at the dock and they had us board a few mins early. We met Israel our Captain and Raul. They kept saying "for the next 3 hours, this boat is yours" and we had the best time. Our previous trip was more focused on swimming and snorkeling but this time we wanted to see the whales. We enjoyed every minute on the boat. We were pampered and cared for, they provided lots of info but were never intrusive. We had great drinks all day followed by a lunch (some reviewers called it a "snack" but I feel like it was so much food and plenty for lunch). We LOVE Cabo sailing and can't wait to come back for a third time! Thank you! read more

This was LITERALLY one of the BEST experiences of my life! My partner, 5 friends, and I did a private sunset cruise. It kept getting better and better. We took a tour near Lovers Beach - it was breath taking to see the different shades of blue crash into the coves. Definitely an earth porn experience. Then we saw over 50 Dolphins swimming. It was a parade of dolphins! I will cherish this experience for the rest of my life. We were told that it wasn't common so don't get your hopes up. I was already thrilled with the tour before the dolphins. The crew was great! Friendly and skilled. They also kept the drinks coming. Ivan was amazing! We got to play our own music. I don't know much about boats, but I would recommend getting a Yacht. We did a sailboat, and it was a bit nerve wracking having to move to the high side, grab on to the handle bar that couldn't fit all of us, and hold onto drinks. Not the crew's fault. We chose the boat. Just letting people know so they know what they're getting into to. read more

What a fun experience! We sailed to see the sunset with Eddie, Ismael, and the captain. We truly had such a nice experience. The attention was amazing. The crew kept checking in on us. They provided us with beverages and light bites. The tour was beautiful and we got to see the arch of Cabos. They played music and even provided blankets when it got chilly. I am not a fan of boats but this was truly an epic experience. read more

One thing I have never done before is go sailing on a yacht. We ended up booking a tour with Cabo sailing. There were three of us and two crewmen, and it was fantastic. Jose and Clement did such an excellent job keeping us entertained allowed us to play our tunes on the boat. Jose prepared a lavish meal for us burritos, chips and salsa, fruit, and much more. We also had a steady stream of drinks that kept coming to us as we need them. The yacht was a decent size had a bow we could layout on and tan or enjoy the passing ocean waves or watching for whales and marlin as we cruise by. As we got further away from the marina, where it was calm and close to the beach, we were allowed to swim and as we were swimming throw chips in the water to see all the fish coming up. The crew did such an excellent job taking care of us, and we had a fantastic time. read more

This was an amazing experience. First we got to snorkel and see a ton of unique fish and reef. Then we sailed around and saw a mix of whales and sea lion while eating a great spread of guac and sandwiches. The whole time with an open bar of drinks and plenty of water! David, Armando, and Eddie took great care of us. Next time I come back I plan on bringing a whole group on the beautiful boat! read more

42' sailboat rental last week in Cabo. 6 of us boarded for a midday trip. David was our captain along with Jesus as his 1st mate. They were amazing hosts! Whatever we needed, they were quick to provide, whether it was a fresh drink, a clean towel or just a lovely moment of idle chat. Truly fine gentlemen with the goal of making us happy customers. We had beautiful weather and were under sail shortly after leaving the marina. The drinks flowed, the views were exceptional and we saw tons of whales and dolphins. They swam all around and under the boat. The full bar was perfect and Jesus is a master guacamole chef! Nice light lunch of freshly made deli sandwiches, guac & chips as well as fresh fruit were served. After lunch we stopped at lovers beach for a quick swim and snorkel. Well worth the price! read more

My husband and I decided to book a sunset sailing cruise to see Cabo from a different point of view. We were not disappointed! Gabriel and Eduardo took care of us and were absolutely amazing. They had different food for us - sushi and so good! We got to snorkel and learned more about the background of Cabo, the Sea of Cortez, and how the arch and sandstone cliffs formed. They also took us out and we were able to see some whales breaching-amazing. The sunset was absolutely beautiful. Highly, highly recommend. We will 100% sail with them again. read more

Took the sunset cruise tonight and the team was amazing! Best hospitality. I've had my whole entire trip in Cabo. Armando, Eddy and Captain Mario are so good at what they do! Request them if you have the option to. I suggest sailing for those who want a relaxing and intimate experience. Not the mention the appetizers they served while aboard the boat were fresh and fantastic. Such a reasonable price for such a fun experience! read more

We loved our private sunset cruise with Cabo Sailing! We got a great online discount and then they upgraded our boat (from 30 to 38 ft.) upon arrival at the dock. I can't tell you how thankful I was to choose the private boat after seeing several other jam-packed sunset cruises leaving the Marina. Hugo and Felipe were AWESOME, so friendly. They got us anything they needed throughout the sail. They also made sure the trip was both fun (sailing fast on the Pacific) & relaxing (spending lots of time at Sunset by the Arch). The food & service were great. We chose Cabo Sailing specifically because they had different food options from other local boating services we have been on (typical chips/guac/tacquitos). Felipe even hand rolled the sushi! The surprise bottle of prosecco at sunset was a great special touch for our honeymoon! read more

Did the Sunset sail tour with Eddy y Ismael and everything went great. Great attention, fun music and the views were spectacular!! Favorite thing was the fact that the tour only included 10 people, so it was a very private experience. read more

We loved our snorkeling and sailing morning with Brian, Cesár and Gary. We were well taken care of, fed and entertained. The boat was beautiful and well maintained. They took health precautions seriously and we so helpful. The 3 hours on this 42 ft yacht was by far the most relaxed I have been the whole vacation. It was amazing. So grateful for this experience. read more

We reserved the 38 foot boat but realized that the gave us the 42 foot yacht! Our crew was Eliel and Arturo. The boat was clean and well stocked for our three hour trip. Warm and funny these two made our trip the BEST experience! First on the agenda was heading out to El Arco and our crew made sure to point out rock formations and historic buildings on the way out. There were a ton of boats out so Eliel suggested that we go out a little further around Lands End. We then cruised over past Land's End and Divorce Beach and it was perfect. We were literally the only boats in the area. With a gorgeous view of the Pedregal Resort, Arturo cast a line and caught a bonita. He let my Dad reel it in and the kids were completely fascinated with the process. 20 minutes later and with some help from another Cabo sailing boat who provided tomatoes and jalapeños, we had a huge plate of fresh ceviche to eat! The food was quite good, we were provided guacamole and salsa plus turkey sandwiches. Arturo prepped margaritas and cold beers for our group. My daughter was bit several times by the sea fleas while snorkling and the crew made sure to slather her with a soothing cream. Another person in our group got sea sick and Eliel and Arturo made her as comfortable as possible. Most importantly, we had fun and felt really safe. The crew was professional and made sure we were having a great time. Cabo Sailing Adventures, we will be back!! read more
