The Doctor did not keep me waiting long at all and she made me feel very relaxed and at ease to have my injection. Overall I was very happy with the service they provided. Parking was not great, it took me 10 minutes to get a park and it was very far away.

All staff polite, friendly, called me by name, and care was pretty spectacular. Offered magazines if I had to wait, bought me up to speed, answered questions with clarity and friendliness and even offered to have special meal bought up if I needed it after procedure. Makes you feel rest assured and relaxed. Highly recommended

The…read morephysiotherapist I had was really unprofessional & too busy chatting & gossiping with her colleagues to care what or how I was doing. The (male) nursing unit manager was abusive towards me & made it very obvious that he didn't believe I had, had a fall, because none of the staff witnessed it.My daughter came in, at first encouraging me to try & stay the full 2 weeks but a little while after she got there the NUM came into my room & continued to be rude & confrontational towards me (in front of my daughter, and not being aware it was my Daughter, who also happens to be a Nurse), after my daughter witnessed the way I was being treated, she told me to pack & leave with her. The Allied health staff (and a trainee Specialist) tried to tell me that what a Professor & various other professionals had told me was incorrect & that all that I had wrong with me was "a bit of arthritis", yet they never spoke to anyone or obtained any of my actual medical records or test results from the hospital I was taken to after the car accident. I stuck it out for almost the full 2 weeks as I genuinely wanted help but despite my efforts, I didn't get the help I so desperately needed. They completely messed up my bowel care regime & medications (that were not an issue to begin with) & changed me to a morphine based medication after I specifically informed them that morphine makes me feel very nauseous. To top it off after I left, they rang my TAC case worker & told her I needed "tough love", I did not give them permission to speak to anyone regarding my health status, so they in fact breached my privacy. I have a spinal cord injury & am pretty sure no amount of "tough love" is going to fix that. I needed guidance & skills to enable me to me more Independent. I deserved kindness, compassion, patience & understanding not to be bullied, belittled and treated so cruelly. What little self esteem I had left, I lost completely during my short stay. I would never NEVER EVER recommend anyone go to the Epworth for Rehab, or for any reason & would never allow another member of my family to either.

My GP at the St Kilda Superclinic referred me to this establishment at Balaclava for a couple of pelvic ultrasound treatments as my face broke out with severe acne months ago; and he felt that there was an underlying cause behind it. And the beautiful thing about this establishment is that they bulk bill through Medicare. Upon attending my appointment 15 minutes early on a Saturday morning, I was grateful to be treated straightaway. Vince (and the reception staff) were most friendly, polite, courteous and helpful. The first few scans lying down in a white hospital gown went okay, and the last few were sadly quite painful; although that could not be helped. Thankfully the treatment was over quite quickly, and I felt fine again after a shower upon coming back home. It was amazing that the outcome was faxed to my Doctor almost immediately. If you ever need an ultrasound or an MRI; best to ask your Doctor to refer you to this establishment. The service and the ambience is just so caring and spectacular.

Not bland but fresh cooked to order well seasoned no one was more surprised than me as I can safely say I have never had a bad meal. Not that I ever want to be in hospital again but if I do I hope it's here Thank you to all the nursing, catering, cleaning and Physio staff on levels 1 and 4 that I came in contact with.

They offer a range of day procedures, such as colonoscopy, endoscopy, etc. It is nice and easy to find, with plenty of signage identifying the building. I have been to several specialists at Gen Iris Private. There is ample parking, both undercover and off street. The rooms are fresh and new, with plenty of seating in the waiting areas (and importantly, the seats are comfortable). The waiting rooms have a TVs, children's areas, and a big selection of magazines. All the staff members I have dealt with are both professional and friendly.

The rooms were very large, with all the equipment in the room; it means they don't need to leave the room for the baby's injections/baths etc. The room also contained a flat screen television and one of those big cushy reclining chairs. The nurses/midwives at Cabrini were extremely friendly and helpful. After the birth, my sister was required to stay for 5days. Her husband was able to stay with her the whole time, as they had a double bed. She quotes it was like being on holiday, with constant room service. She was able to order a prawn cocktail and fresh oysters (the plate came with 6!) and other yummy items. The Cabrini cafeteria is really something to talk about, I have never seen so much good (real) food in a hospital before! They also had a sweet section that sold good quality cakes and treats. If you do get sick of the food, don't worry-Cabrini is right next to Glenferrie Rd, where a plethora of restaurants/cafes reside. The hospital also has an enjoyable outdoor/park type area to relax in. The gift shop is also worth mentioning, although it was very small, the stock they had was of good quality and variety. Definitely an inviting hospital, will probably give birth here too when it comes to being my time.

When my Dad 'popped' his hand between the garage door weight and a brick wall the Angliss was the…read moreplace we rushed him too. His fingers had all snapped and the bones had moved down and were sitting between his knuckles. Safe to say there was blood everywhere, his hands were a mess and I nearly fainted! (Never mind my Dad...) We raced him into Emergency and waited about an hour to get seen as more urgent emergency patients came in before us and while we waited. The staff were really good at keeping patients calm and it was obvious that they were doing their absolute best. They eventually took Dad into a room and re-set his fingers and gave him a heap of stitches. He emerged an hour or so later with a little finger cast on each finger that would hold each in place. The whole experience was pretty fast considering normal waiting times in emergency rooms and we were quite impressed. There was another time when he slit just one finger open and he was left in the waiting room for eight hours. (That was at a different hospital, but you can see now why we love the Angliss just that little bit more as a result.) The staff were great and they even gave me some water because I looked so pale with shock. They really turned quite a scary experience into something that was okay.
