This place cost more than a cabin we had stayed in back in August. The previous cabin, look up Slough View for a great place and deal, was less expensive, bigger and cleaner. Red, who will tell you how great he is, is far from it. Not to mention he has his own tip jar set up by the comment book. The owner then sent me, what I can only describe as a form letter apology. Established in 2008.

Caddo Lake Lodge is a family owned business that started in 2008. It spawned from a dream to start a retreat on a local lake just like the ones visited as a child on family vacations.

Meet the Business Owner: Kelly and Shelley W.

Kelly and Shelley have been married for 21 years. Both worked in the hotel industry while in college and into the early parts of their professional career. Kelly continued in the field of travel and tourism and has been successful in his career over the last 17 years. Shelley worked in healthcare management for 15 years and is now working with the lodging business full-time.
