Durante más de 7 años mis 2 hijos asistieron a Born2Learn en Doral, FL. Las antiguas dueñas, Llinka y Cristina, eran maravillosos seres humanos que mantenían un colegio impecable y con un trato humano especial. En Agosto del 2018 cambiaron las dueñas del colegio y desde el primer momento se notaron cambios desfavorables en todos los aspectos: la calidad de la comida bajó significativamente; los niños, que antes mantenían a su grupo de amigos y compañeros a través de los años, ahora son cambiados de salón a salón sin ningún interés por preservar las amistades y dinámicas de grupo que se han generado; numerosos cambios de personal fueron implementados sin ningún aviso previo a los padres, incluyendo a personal importante que interactuaba con los padres en el día a día; y así muchas otras cosas que me hicieron entender que las nuevas dueñas sólo están interesadas en maximizar ganancias financieras mientras descuidan por completo la salud emocional y el aprendizaje de los niños. Mi mayor problema comenzó cuando mientas pasaba por un divorcio muy doloroso y tormentoso, el papá de mis niños que siempre fue el responsable de pagar el colegio, se atrasó dos semanas en el pago. Él llamó por teléfono para explicar las razones de su atraso y les hizo un depósito parcial del monto que debía, acordando que el día 21 de Diciembre pagaría el total en deuda. A pesar de esta conversación y lo que él pensó había sido un entendimiento con el colegio, el 19 de Diciembre, justo el día de Navidad en que llegaba Santa con regalos y que mi hija esperaba con mucha emoción y anticipación, las dueñas decidieron bloquearle la entrada a mi hija de 3 años al colegio sin previo aviso. Inmediatamente envié un email explicando mi situación y contacté a mi ex-esposo para que acelerara el pago de la semana que debía. Las dueñas sólo me enviaron un recibo cobrándome una semana extra que mi hija ni siquiera atendió ya que ellas le habían prohibido la entrada al colegio y que además no estaba incluida en el contrato. Aún sin recibir respuesta por parte del colegio con el recibo del monto correcto , recibí una carta de una agencia de recolección de deudas a las pocas semanas, demostrando la falta de interés en interactuar conmigo y buscar una solución satisfactoria para todos. Aún así, les volví a escribir un segundo email en donde la unica respuesta fue " Usted fue transferida a una agencia de recoleccion" ( en el que ademas incluyeron una semana extra ) Con su trato inhumano e ignorando por completo el bienestar de los niños que atienden a su colegio, le causaron un daño emocional importante a mi hija y no demostraron ningún interés en comprender la difícil situación personal y económica por la que atravesábamos, sin importar que yo había sido parte de la comunidad de Born2Learn por más de 7 años y que jamás había tenido ningún tipo de problemas en el pasado. Este colegio pasó de ser uno que se preocupaba por el bienestar físico y emocional de sus niños por sobre todas las cosas, a un negocio más en el que el único interés es el de reducir costos y generar mayor ganancia financiera, aunque esto signifique una disminución brusca en la calidad del servicio y en el cuidado de los niños. Les advierto a los padres para que tomen esto en cuenta a la hora de buscar el mejor lugar para que sus niños crezcan en un ambiente seguro y sano, física y emocionalmente. read more

My child has been in B2L since 2 years old when the previous owners/administration was there and I had no complaints. With the new owners/administration, I still have no complaints. Yes, I am sadden that some of the teachers/assistants have left but my child has not suffered any negative consequences from the new owners/administrarion. I am able to watch the cameras constantly and I see that my child is still treated with the same respect, kindness, caring, loving, and compassionate care as before. At the beginning of the change in owners, I was able to speak with the owner/director and they have always been available to address any concern I have. I have been able to meet with teachers at the change of school year just like before. The technology of the school has advanced with the new administration. I get daily reports of what my child eats, what the day consists of, and photos of daily activities, so that is a plus. The school has kept the same prices, uniform, name, and activities as before. Althougth change is always somewhat difficult, the transition to the new ownership has been smooth so far and I have no complaints. read more

Born2Learn Preschool is a wonderful, extraordinary place and we can't recommend it highly enough. The facilities are great and the people are wonderful--not just the teachers, but the staff is really good to the kids. The teachers and two owners are really proactive about getting to the bottom of any problems when they notice someone falling behind. They monitor constantly and make sure the kid is at the right level for his or her age. They help develop their academics as well as their emotional and personal growth. You can't fake caring for children and it's obvious the team loves and respects the students. Our two daughters have been so happy there--it's like their second home. They feel safe and we feel safe because they have an excellent security system. We can also check in any time through a webcam. We really believe the teachers are motivated by love for the kids, not money, and have recommended Born2Learn to all our friends! read more

I had previously been quite pleased with Born2Learn Daycare and felt assured of the care they provided to my child. However, since the acquisition by Cadence Academy, the experience has significantly diminished. Firstly, the decision to remove access to cameras with only a mere two-week notice has been unsettling for many parents, myself included. The transparency and peace of mind these cameras provided cannot be overstated. Moreover, a recent incident where my daughter sustained an injury to her lip on a slide further underscored my concerns. It was only after I brought it to their attention that a report was made. The oversight is alarming, and I expected better communication and proactive care from a daycare establishment. In conclusion, while the name Born2Learn still carries fond memories, the recent changes under Cadence Academy have left me deeply disappointed and concerned for the well-being and oversight of my child. read more

Born 2 Learn is so much more than a day care. It is a true Pre-K learning center. My wife and I researched all the pre-school options in the Doral area and are extremely pleased we decided on B2L for our children. In addition to being a very safe and clean facility, the staff is ultra attentive and really works hard at developing a program that encourages learning, creativity, and preparing a child with fundamental life skills. My wife and I enrolled our daughter at B2L when she was two and has since graduated. We are confident that the positive experience she had there was a key factor in her early success in elementary school. She is one of top students in her class! I'm never been so happy since my child started this preschool. They are so educated and professional and from the moment you enter the school you can tell THEY LOVE KIDS! My toddler went thru a change due to personal problems being myself a single mom and the teachers helped me a lot with my daughter anxiety problems not being the case in the previous daycare. My best friend recommended me to call and its one of the best decisions I have made since my daughter was born. I'm never been so happy since my child started this preschool. As a parent, the safety of my child is a priority. At Born 2 Learn my little one is in the best care that we could find. I liked this pre-school since the first day I visited them. I felt in love with the school and the staff to the point that I felt confident about enrolling my little one. I like that the school integrates technology in the care of the little ones by allowing parents to see remotely their love ones while they are away. When we decided to pull our 18-month-old out of his first school this past November, it was a very difficult decision -- full of both emotional and logistical uncertainties. We immediately saw the difference when we walked through the doors at B2L. Our son's teachers have all been wonderful - always supportive, encouraging and kind. OUR HOME, AWAY FROM HOME :) Our daughter attended this school for 3 years, and it was amazing. Our son now is enrolled, and we love it! They have been so amazing with Covid19 protection and prevention. They are teaching him to speak (both English and Spanish), and they care of him like he is their own! Could not ask for better care. I love this preschool. Best school in Doral. My son has been attending for 3 years and I love it. Teachers are friendly, the administration is courteous and always ready to help. Changes are always difficult but the new administration has been more than helpful in the transition and have even implemented a smart parent app to make sure we (parents) get informed through out the day.
