I was a loyal customer at their auctions, bidding from the United States. In my last transaction with them I had purchased two loose rubies, and they did not package my items properly and the rubies were missing from the package when it arrived. (Their packaging was ripped open on the ends ans even how they taped the box I'm surprised nothing else was missing or damaged).
The gemstones I ordered came in a small manila envelope and it had the white tape on it so that they could've peeled it off and sealed the envelope with the gemstones yet they chose not to. I informed them of the situation immediately, and they said they did not have them. I thought maybe they were left behind when they shipped the package but that was not the case. They offered a credit for the rubies, but I would still have to pay £80 for shipping on another order instead of the usual £100, which I did not feel was adequate. I asked for a credit on my payment card for the the rubies, and they did not provide that or return any further calls. I even had my daughter who lives there call and they didn't return her calls either. In the end I had no choice but to dispute it with my credit card company. They finally settled the case in my favor just this week when the transaction was in late October. it's unfortunate as I enjoyed their auctions. read more
