If you like Motorbike racing then this is a place to go. Some of the major races here are televised. Races for amatures to enter too on other days. They also have cars sometimes and events where you can use the track for your own car so any budding Jeremy Clarkson's..this is the way! Picnic on the hill or go to the cafe..chat to the guys in the pits. Girls help them out of their leathers on a hot day :0))) Good day out for the enthusiast. read more

This is a great day out, no matter whether its cars or bikes racing. Just outside of Louth, its pretty easy to get to and it really is a great activity. Its pretty reasonable prices and there is something on pretty much every weekend. read more

Took my other half here for both of our first outings to a bike meet - WOW!! Went for the British Superbikes this year, and I don't think we could have picked a better venue. The track is fantastic for spectators, you get really close to the action, and the atmosphere is electric. We stood opposite the mountain so had a spectacular view as the riders went over it with both wheels off the track. The toilet facilities leave a bit to be desired if you are on the wrong side of the track, but apart from that I can't fault it. The stewards were all fantastic and very helpful, would definitely go again, only problem is its 5 hrs away from home, so have to stay somewhere there - oh dear what a shame!! read more

Fondly nicknamed the 'mini Nürburgring', Cadwell Park celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2014. It remains as held closely in the hearts of many motorsport fans as ever. Located 10 miles north of Horncastle and five miles south of Louth, the Lincolnshire circuit is especially popular with bikers nationwide.
History
Established in 1934.
Set in the rolling Lincolnshire countryside, Cadwell Park was established in 1934. The length of the track almost doubled to 1.3 miles in 1953, when the ascendant 500cc motorcycle-engined F3 class was invited to race in a traditional bike meeting. Reg Spreckley thus became the track's first car race winner in his Cooper. Some 30,000 spectators were said to have watched the meeting. The original track, with its fearsome and photogenic Mountain feature, grew to its current 2.25-mile layout in 1962 and hosted the British F3 series the following May. It has three configurations - the rarely used Woodlands circuit, the short Club circuit, and the splendid, daunting Full circuit. These days, its car racing exploits are confined to club meetings but they are invariably superb, the track's swooping nature providing fantastic racing, and the challenge proving irresistible to drivers and riders alike.
