Super popular tapas bar in a great location with reasonable prices. We loved it so much, we came…read moreback the next night with our daughters! We ordered the beef tenderloin both nights, the gorgonzola ravioli both nights, the woodfired shrimp , the Esaliveda salad - goat cheese w/ eggplant and peppers - delicious! The tuna belly w/ tomatoes (just ok); salmon, grilled avocado & mango; (very good); grilled guacamole - ta half avocado grilled w/ chopped tomato and onion - tasty; grilled skirt steak w/ baked potato (good, but beef tenderloin was better); prawn & squid skewer (very good). Save room for the small dessert tapas: We tried three and loved them all: the bread pudding - insane!; the pistachio ice cream - so creamy and tasty; and the ice cream sandwich btwn wafers - tasty! If I lived in Barcelona, I would definitely be a regular here!

Stumbled upon Vinitus after doing a night tour of Casa Batllo!…read more We came here for dinner & had no trouble getting a table for two. We ordered these tapas to try: - potatoes bravas - cod with honey aioli - fried anchovies - fried squid, cuttlefish, & small fish + peppers assortment - Iberian ham + chicken croquetas - lobster rice - beef tenderloin w/ foie gras Dessert: - mini ice cream sandwiches - fried banana crème brûlée custard Our server was very nice & patient with us! He spoke pretty good English but didn't know what the English menu names for the dishes translated to in Spanish, so there was a slight mix up with some of the dishes we wanted to order haha. Fortunately, we were able to figure it out with him & got the we wanted. The food is actually quite good for a more touristy spot. After trying bravas from a couple different restaurants, this was still my favorite! Not dry at all & the sauce was good. We didn't realize that the fried seafood assortment also included anchovies lol, so we had a lot of anchovies to finish! They were lightly fried & salted. The star of the show for us was the cod with honey aioli... OMG, SO GOOD! We had to place another order! Now, I can understand why this is one of their most popular dishes. The fried banana crème brûlée custard was another highlight! This dessert was amazing. What I wouldn't recommend: the lobster rice. It had the smallest sliver of lobster & was mostly all shell for flavor haha and the rice was a bit hard to eat.
