I had the salmon picatta which was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy skin. The oil sauce was delicious as was the pairing with the potatoes. My husband got the penne with crispy speck (I don't think that's the official name but it was all I could get out of him) which I tasted and we both thought was delicious. The service was exceptional. While our server did not speak much English she was still exceptionally kind and understanding of us and we communicated just fine. Some of the other wait staff do seem to speak English as well. The espresso was excellent as well. Finally they were very prompt with both the food and the bill, likely a result of being located at a train station where passengers attempt to time their meal with their train departure. We stumbled across this little cafe on a Sunday afternoon and we were so grateful to find it open at a time when the rest of France seems to be closed. But it was nice. Tasty. A decent sized cup. Although it was a nice day and there were people sat outside, I stayed indoors. There was a nice feel about the place. I sat on one of the stools and logged onto the internet with their free wifi. The place is small (although not sure if there was another room as well since I didn't check it out back to where the bathrooms were.). The drink was reasonably priced and being a comfortable place, I shall return.
