We walked by this place and the crepes looked delicious. We proceed to look at the menu in front of us, we then realized it was written in French. We asked the guy (owner) for the price of a crepe with bananas and strawberries. He had a watch in his hand -I think he was trying to fix it- barely looked at us and pointed at the menu without using any words. Due to the silence and lack of assistance we walked away. However in my mind that one crepe sounded sooo good. So we returned and ordered a crepe and a lemonade. He took my name - I understood that they would call me once it was ready. In fact once the crepe was ready the kind lady called my name. At this point I was waiting for the lemonade, I saw one of the ladies helping customer that had just arrived, so I approached the owner and asks if it was ready. He took my receipt and in front of his customers and people walking by he yelled at me saying that I was supposed to ask for it to be made. I was so offended by his attitude. They weren't busy and this is not a big place, after seeing me all confused he could have communicated to the lady to make a lemonade for me. But instead he made me feel stupid as I should have known better. The crepe wasn't bad, but the crepe is pre-made and warmed up :/ For a French guy who wants to be successful in this place, he needs to learn to respect and truly provide a service for the Chilean community as well as the tourist who are just wanting to ask for the price of a crepe...

I think most of it came from the fact that the spinach were not cooked right and did not have the right textute. But the crepe was also gritty, and that was quite disagreeable. I have no idea what they have put in it for it to be gritty, none of the ingredients should make this possible, so maybe the dough itself was not good. In any case I could not even finish my crepe and I was hungry... That says something.

The menu selection is good so is the drink menu. Some of my colleagues wanted to share a pitcher of beer but they only offer bottles. I went for their bottle of the local Carmenere - Secret Reserve - and was very pleased by it. I started with the Mixed Ceviche that was very flavorful, tasted fresh and was of a decent portion. I then elected to go for the Cilantro steak. The menu does not says what it comes with, so I've ordered some fries. It actually came with rice that was somewhat bland. The meat itself was fine but the cilantro dressing was lacking some kick to it. The service could have been better. Our first waiter was nice but the second one seemed like he didn't cared much. I've never received the fries I ordered but it ended up on my bill. When I've told him, he asked me if he wanted me to take it off the bill. Is it really something you should ask a customer to start with!? Yes, take off the item I've never received, please. It then took 25 min before we could pay. Until we told the hostess to hurry or we would leave. So if the service improves it could be a great restaurant.

The apps of ceviche were wonderful. Fresh and flavorful with onion, lemon and cilantro were just what I needed. The choclo was probably good but not totally to my taste. The main courses which I sampled all were great...it was around this time that the food coma sunk in and I needed a nap. At least it was well earned today.

Don't expect anything fancy or a long Thai menu including Thai rolls. The menu is mostly a soup, skewers, noodles and some minor other dishes. The place use to be in a corner but you almost sat on the street so they moved it to a larger space. There is a couple of full size restaurants on the northern part of the city. Service is pretty good and attentive - parking a nightmare because of the location. I only gave it three stars because of the limited menu.

This location by the Franklin metro is surrounded by other typical Chilean restaurants and sandwich stands. The menu offers about 6 different dishes with an option to make it vegetarian if you wish (be aware this is not on the menu but if you ask, they will make sure to substitute the meat for more of the vegetables that come with it). It is also important to note that this is not a restaurant per se, but a kiosk with about 4 tables outside. This is actually what I love most about this location - you are right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the feria. Because there are so few tables, be sure to get there early on the weekends or be prepared to wait.
