After a long day of walking around town my partner and I were in desperate need of food and were initially just looking to get chips somewhere. The establishment seemed like they would serve them so we sat down on the terrace next to the fountain. To our surprise we found multiple vegan items on the menu; I went fo the vegan burger with chips, my partner for wild rice with veggies and Szechuan sauce. Both were 9,95€ each, we also got peach iced teas for I think ~3,50€, 0,4L. Definitely not the best food we had but it was good, the portions were big enough for the kind of Hunger you have after walking around all day without really eating and the staff was friendly. If you're looking for good, casual food, this is definitely a great option; if you're looking for cuisine you might want to look further. read more

Being that I'm visiting a city where veganism isn't so common, I'm extremely thankful for the options served at Cafe Solo. They have a vegan burger with veganaise and an Asian inspired stir-fried veggie dish with wild rice on the side. They also have the same stir-fry with noodles, though I'm not sure if the noodles contain egg (so I'd definitely say ask before you order). I opted for the veggie and rice dish, which was pleasantly satisfying. The sauce was dark and rich and the wild rice went surprisingly well with everything. The portion was a good size as well. I'll be here for a week, so I'm sure I'll be at this establishment quite a few more times before heading out. read more
