Kind of sorry. Out of most all food which is okay cause I'm here for the coffee anyway. What's not okay is I ordered and paid. They didn't give me a receipt then they forgot I ordered. A handful of people came and ordered after me received their order and I was still standing there. That's when they asked to take my order, told them they already did. The food has always been excellent. The service has always been marginal as it is consistently slow and there seems to be turnover in employees. The problem in my observation is the front of house manager who is unfriendly and unprofessional. The owner had to ameliorate an encounter that was created and escalated by his manager today. I would not recommend the business to visitors to Americus as I have done in the past. Pats Place and Little Brothers seem to have the service with a genuine smile down to an art. The folks at the cafe could take some lessons. Or, encourage the manager to develop soft skills. read more

Great local coffee and sandwich and pastry (and more) shop! I spent a few hours here today, just enjoying one of their South American dark roast brews, and loving the "olfactory treat" of all the good food available for lunch and afternoon snacks. This business also welcomes and supports community activities - and was the venue for my book signing and "meet and greet" the author event this afternoon. Plenty of space and seating for folks who came to enjoy conversation and to learn more about the books and my non-profit. read more

Every time I come home, I stock up on coffee from Cafe Campesino! It's organic free trade coffee and its delicious! I buy the Ethiopian Sidama. It's a medium blend coffee and I love it. Sweet Georgia Baking Company is also located in the same shop - the brothers who own the businesses combined forces a few years ago and I think is a great combo - drop in to have lunch and pick up a pound of coffee for home!!! Definitely check out the pot roast sandwich (or salad) if you stop by for lunch - you won't be disappointed. read more

I was looking forward to going here after the bike Right ride. I got a chai latte and unfortunately it is the kind that is too sweet. I should have just got a regular tea latte. I was in college when this place first opened and it's honestly the closest thing to culture that this small town has to offer. I grew up in Jersey, so I know good food. I've never had a bad experience with them, the food is always fresh and hot. Perfectly seasoned and always hits the spot. 10/10 recommended!! read more

The staff is really good. They have a good tea selection. The frittata is very good but the coffee and espresso drinks aren't the best. They are descent but not what you expect when being at a cafe. They have a good set up but the shots they pull are too weak. They taste watered down. If they could get that right this place would be unstoppable. Best coffee around and it's fair trade and roasted locally! Their Hot Turkey Sandwich is my favorite. It's real turkey just like Thanksgiving, not Deli-style. It's really not spicy hot, just good. They made me and my wife stand outside in the cold because they said our service dog is not allowed inside , which is not legal. We didn't wanna make a big deal in front of the other customers but he is a registered service dog and was working at the time with his vest on of course. The department of justice requires any service animal be allowed to accompany the owner in any establishment, including those with a no pet policy. Very disappointing visit as we were excited to try this cafe out for the first time. If you have a service animal, I'd steer clear if you want to avoid a scene. read more

"Impression" Nema?? The words you're desperately failing to say are, "I am sorry you had a terrible experience". The lack of professionalism continues so, now I understand why the manager in the store reacted the way he did. You yourself are unprofessional. "impression...", you asked "fellow customers"? The same people remembered? Were aware of manager arguing? Proves my "regular" priority true. The manager argued with me,implied I was a liar pretty much and when I proved him inaccurate he did not apologize. There was food served to people that ordered after me,. where they went with it I did not watch. of course you refunded after I asked, I didn't get the food?! No worries, I'll drink McDonalds coffee. We have been to hundreds of Coffee Shops all around the country and this is surprisingly one of the best. The best part is it's Organic. The cold brew is consistent in flavor and never acidic tasting or watered down. We have also had lattes in a variety of flavors, their mocha, dirt chai and their whole beans for coffee at home, none have ever disappointed. They don't have a ton of options in bagged beans as far as regions go but they do have a good roast selection and the beans they have are always delicious. The food and Pastries are always good, haven't tried to many of the food options but we have enjoyed everything we have tried. Highly recommend the chicken salad sandwich. Customer service is always on point, they DO require a mask and will ask you to put one on in order to receive service. We greatly appreciate this and it definitely makes us like this place even more! We grind our own beans at home and use a French press for better flavor. We only use well or alkaline water. read more

This place was right across from our hotel and was recommended to us by the hotel attendant. I got a chai latte with oat milk and I was able to put cinnamon on top because there was an area where you could add toppings and cream. I thought it tasted wonderful, not too sweet, just the right amount. My mom got a black tea with milk and she said it tasted good. They also had yummy looking desserts but since we were about to eat breakfast we only got the drinks. I liked the compostable lid of the coffee cup. I would definitely go again and recommend to anyone who likes coffee and tea. The only downside was that COVID caused the place to have no indoor seating so it was all to go. read more

Like its sister cafe in Atlanta, the Americus cafe is a great place to curl up whether you're visiting, as I was, or a resident. Warm staff are very responsive. Tasty - if limited - menu goes well with their fantastic coffee. Plus, they are fully committed to Fair Trade, so they will answer any questions that you have about how they work with farmers and their practices. Good discounts if you bring your own mug. One of the coolest parts is that the cafe is in front of the roastery itself, so you can smell the delicious brews as they are prepared. They said that they sometimes do roastery tours, too, which should be cool to see. They also host concerts and events throughout the summer, they said.
